Any news on the new Volvo B9TL's ?
When it ships, can you guess which bus service will deploy, and to be controlled by which depot ?
I think it will be service 7, 8, 10, 25, 51, 56, 74, 88, 132, 133, 147, 165, 166.
Guess mostly on HGDEP and AMDEP.

may i know why Number 67 is always very long to wait at the bus stop one stop after lot 1 bus stop?i have to wait like 15 min then it come....damn long man...

15 mins long ? I think its pretty normal for most services now adays. -
Is some svc's frequency that travel along JE Ave 1 and JW Ave 1 erratic? Because ppl from Clementi, early morning get up, schoolchildren wait so long for bus. 99 schedule like problematic in early morning. I think it's because of the famous stretch of JE and JW Ave 1 with their freaking traffic lights barely a few hundred metres... Anybody has the same problem with traffic-light hit roads?

Why the buses to Malaysia (160 and 170) uses old bus, mainly MK III s. Should delpoy newer buses like MK IV DM3500 or best, deploy DDs if there is no ristrictions.

You may see DM3500s taking over when the Mk IIIs are retired from service. anyone know why does SBS3624G has ez-link card readers even though its not for revenue svc?
and why does SBS3589A (training bus) has orange ez-link card readers? -
Malaysia government haf alot of rules on buses, like 3rd brake light, emergency exit etc... and DD and bendy are quite a no-no as the government when planning, did not plan for these(except semi-decker) even in KL.....for bendy, can u c how congested the checkpt is and Larkin oso verey BZ...and DD, look @ the bridge and sum low branch....hmmm...actually SBST wanted the strider to go JB but i tink the idea scrapped...(u can c sum strider painted with red-white strips on the emergency exit)Originally posted by CAIX:Why the buses to Malaysia (160 and 170) uses old bus, mainly MK III s. According to Suhirman, 5*** regoes were based at AMDEP. What about other rego series? If I'm not wrong, 4*** belonged to BN while 1*** were found mainly in BB.

That is not the case, Mark IV and newer buses are deployed on important services or services that meets more demands in Singapore. Does MK4 DM3500 have emergency-exit? if not, it cudnt be on JB svc...
