yeah.. tis situation is getting rampant.. even Mb O405 CAC also affected.Originally posted by kenny_cai:Just one question. How many SBST buses have EDS (Electronic Display System) displays? And so, which buses and what service they're on? I know it's a little too much, but I'm on a hunt, and I need to know my prey.
Boyh gassies are not equipped wif EDSOriginally posted by iveco:I think 2888 and gassies as well.

They could add seats in between, like at bedok int, and take the bus that comes first...but then again, the space there is small for the people capacity...Originally posted by bluezombie10:anybody of you wondered how they plan for the bus services to call at which berths? One bad example is Tampines Interchange. Referring to http://www.sbstransit.com.sg/busint_tampines.asp, for e.g, a passenger who wishes to go to Os Blk 493B Tampines Ave 9 bus stop, he/she has a choice of whether to take sv 28 (at berth B10), sv 29 (at berth B9) or sv 293 (at berth B3). Take note of the distance between the berths. Why couldn't the services be placed together at one berth?
Maybe they could have planned it out dis way? Just a suggestion, though.
Berth B3
sv 22, 65, 293 (towards st 71)
Berth B4
sv 10, 68, 969, 291 (towards st 81)
Berth B5 (no change)
sv 3, 31, 67
Berth B7 (no change)
sv 39, 72, 292
Berth B8
sv 37, 69, 291 (towards st 33)
Berth B9
sv 18, 19, 38
Berth B10
sv 28, 29, 293 (towards st 45)
just 2 cents of my thoughts. maybe can start a topic on this perhaps.
Yup SBS3651C is still SP for sv39...Originally posted by leeJZ:Actually S39 took 3 Scanias while 2 went to S57. BNDEP slotted in 3652A and 3671U instead.
btw I also tink BNDEP added 3651C to S39 as an extra bus.
Bus[sv7] had accident quite a while back, scratched roof, now Permer sv99Originally posted by Donavan:By the way right, a few questions:
How can seat handles disappear from buses (some VO3x have missing seat handles. 99 very good example.)
Also, what happened to 9373 R? (has a VO3x 3rd batch and beyond roof)
That is all.
The main reason is to encourage people to queue up. Take a look at the queues of 174 & 198, only a few people queue up while the rest of the people just loiter around & blocking the passageways. With the services far apart people will have to choose one service to take & queue up for it.Originally posted by Townlink 268:another example is Boon Lay Interchange.. have to walk one big round to get from one end to the other.. also, it could made some services share the same berth, such as sv243G and 243W, 79 and 246, 182 and 193![]()
Svc 53, 55 and 58 's Berth is actually sited much more nearer to the 57's Berth.. But it is shifted due to the CCL Construction going on.. that is why they have to shift the Berth Further Up...Originally posted by gorby107:Same goes for Bishan Int too,if you want to take 58,53 and?? you must go to the other side of the int to queue up in the berth which is quite troublesome. Hope they can shift the berth nearer?
youm should see Serangoon interchange.. pratically no one ever queue at any of the queue lines..Originally posted by samtlk:The main reason is to encourage people to queue up. svc 371 have been withdrawnOriginally posted by 105090:youm should see Serangoon interchange.. pratically no one ever queue at any of the queue lines..
anyway, i saw chaos when the following svcs arrive: sv163 vs sv371. sv156 vs sv159 at SKG interchange.. so maybe seperating them is a good thing
For Now, the case is usually when 372 and 163, 156 and 159.. people usually board whatever bus that comes first.. actually, This is actually applies to Hougang also.. 74 and 147 , 113 and 325 , 132 and 165 , 153 and 107Originally posted by musli_bar:svc 371 have been withdrawn
anyways, both svc 156 and 159, like 371 and 163 have routes that are about similar with each other....separating the two services from the same berth will create more chaos... i think it's better to be at the same berth as some peeps actually slide lanes
Does this mean 9373 now has maroon air-con ducts on the upper deck these days?Originally posted by Acx1688:Bus[sv7] had accident quite a while back, scratched roof, now Permer sv99
The sentence highlighted is the answer to your question.Originally posted by iveco:Does 136 make a u-turn at Upp S'goon/Boundary Rd junction in order to get to YCK Rd or is there a u-turn lane provided for such purposes?
