Today sit Sv 82 with my friends for bus rides from Punggol Rd(opp Rivervale Plaza) then loop at Punggol Rd End then go back to our home. The bus driver drove very fast even on the two-lane Punggol Rd to the End there around 60-70kmh. When the bus reached Punggol Rd End, everybody alighted, then the BC waved his hands to ask me to get down. But I told him that I want to continue. He waved again to asked me to get down but I told him that I want to continue. After I said that, he flared up and scolded me and my friend to get down. When we got down he shouted at us on saying that we need to get down because of the time thing??? Then we waited at the bus stop like bamboo. While the BC was resting inside in the bus walking here and there and using his HP. After a few mins, he allowed us to board again and need to pay again. I also said sorry to him then we continue our journey. I thought Sv 82 is a loop service why this BC don't let me sit inside and wait while at other times I took and still can sit inside. Can anyone explain this??? Thanks a lot

The TVMobile on SBS 9075 ? (SBST superbus 197) that I was on today at 11+am from West to Town was exceptionally loud.
It was distracting me from reading my book and I had to turn on some music damn loud on my headphones just to drown out the noise. If this goes on I'll go deaf. In fact, if I wasn't on headphones, I would go deaf anyway if I have to endure this noise everyday.
Luckily my job requires me to travel to different places at different times everyday, so quite unlikely that I get on this bus that often.
Of course, my favourite situation is if there is no TVMobile or if it's off. Second is if there's no sound. I can tolerate TVMobile if it's at its normal volume and even watch it sometimes if there's a good show. But this incident, I think, even on headphones can hear. -
CT8 loads are majority on the early afternoon and on weekends especially.. usually at about 12pm weekdays, the bus may even have only limited empty seats when leaving ave 10.. and on weekends, if u board at ave 10, can forget about sitting..Originally posted by tranquilice:When is the period that CT8 has good load?
I took CT8 on last Thursday afternoon (3pm plus) from Ang Mo Kio and there were less than 10 passengers.
Services 166 and 851 are alternative services to CT8. And the long frequency of CT8 results in more passengers taking alternative services.
comparing with the CT18 and CT28, CT8 calls at the most stops and has more passengers on average! -

However, CT28 is almost empty most of the time even if it was weekend. CT28 really should be extended to Clementi or better still, Jurong East via BT Batok. -

Iveco, if you insist on your stand, here is evidence to trounce your claim.

this morning i board SBS 9490K at Pasir Ris Interchange. the ez-link card reader got something wrong, displays "Out of Service". the bus captain was unable to fix the problem so he told us to wait inside the bus while he ask the technician for help. the technician came and took 10 minutes to fix the problem.....

the TV mobile in SBS 9418X is not repaired! it is spoilt for some time already.

Buses with non-functioning front desto backlight should not be driven for night trips until the light is fixed!
Just now saw SBS 363 D with non-working front desto backlight and couldn't make out the service no. (199) till it was almost at the bus stop.

0910hrs from NBR to CCK.
Again this kind of nonsense.... despite numerous complaints to the company.
What course of actions do commuters have for this kind of sub standard services provided by bus company???
Expert please share your views here.
Asking for fare hike, wanna to fine and jail commuters who underpaid or never pay for fare. and overcharging still happenings despite a small percentage. crowded buses.
think is time for the commuters to fight back!!
