BTW, drivers caught travelling along or parking their vehicles on bus lanes during restricted hours will no longer be given 4 demerit points but the $130 fine stays.

Hi everyone, I'm back. I've cut off my internet connection because it is under my father's name so I've to reapply so now is ok. Thanks for all your concern. During this three week period, did I missed out anything. I heard that 183 is being extended. Any news on the B9TL ?

YOUTH WALK 2005
The week of 12-18 June was a time of celebration for the youth in our Achdiocese.
The week started off with a 3-day 2-night Youth Walk. Sliding down a snow slope, walking together for long distances, sleeping in tents at night and a Eucharistic celebration outdoors were some of the unforgettable moments for the 100 youths from 20 parishes that took part.
The highlight of the Youth Week was the Youth Fest. The festival providied a platform to affirm youth and their talents. The festival kicked off at noon with a carnival bustling with games and food, live performances by bands at the talent corner and an on-site music station controlled by DJs. There was also an hour-long live chat discussing youth issues. The grand finale of the day was the evening rally cum Eucharistic celebration under the stars.
The Youth Week affirmed our youth that they matter to Jesus and our Church.

About 100 youths from various parishes were at Orchard MRT station waiting for further instructions on 13 June 2005 @ 9am. Most of the youths were feeling excited about the Youth Walk until 15 June 2005.
They had visited most places like Snow City, Jurong East Swimming Complex, Church of St. Mary of the Angels, Kranji War Memorial, Kranji Dam, NEWater Visitor Centre & CAYC Youth Centre (Lor Low Koon, off Upp Serangoon Rd). Throughout the 2 day walk, the fun will never end for most of them.

The organisers of the Youth Walk are briefing them before the start of the walk. They include important information, instructions and safety precautions to take during the entire 2-day walk.

The procedure is much improved than it first started in 1983. The route was amended subsequently in 1990, 1997 & 2000.

Later on that afternoon, participants are waiting at the Jurong East Sports Complex (outside the carpark). Most of them are chatting to their friends before they go to Jurong East Swimming Complex.

This is the view of Jurong East Swimming Complex where the participants visited. It is part of Jurong East Sports Complex. Most of them were using floats for Olympic-sized pool (about 2.1m deep) and Training pool (about 1m deep).

In the evening of 13 June, participants went to Church of Mary of the Angels. They were having Praise & Worship and stayed there for 1 night before visiting Snow City on 14 June.

Last Sunday, my friends told me that my face was shown on the Presentation Screen during mass.
During offertory on Sunset Mass, PRISCILLA and SHERYL were the 'couples' of the offertory gift. Instead, the celebrants called them as PRISCILLA and VANESSA.
They are from Apex-LW'21 groups. -

Participants were at Kranji Dam for the evening and overnight stay. It was taken at the area facing Johor Bahru (on the border sea of Selat Johor). The Police Stand ensures that no illegal workers entering Singapore. The organisers were instructing them how to set up a tent.

It was raining at Kranji Dam. Most of them are waiting at a shelter until the rain stops after packing up their belongings. They have to travel a long distance to reach their end destination (CAYC Youth Centre).
