Does anyone heard of Teresa Teng (1953-1995)? She had died in Chiang Mai, Thailand due to asthma attack on 8 May 1995.
There was an event called 'Unforgettable Teresa Teng, A Musical Tribute to Teresa Teng' held at Esplanade on 28 Oct–2 Nov 2005. Tong Yao is a lead singer of this event. -

In local funerals, its common to here her (Teresa Teng) songs being played.
And in Chiang Mai especially, its also very common to here her songs being played at places where theres chinese tourists like those local foodstuff shops .
My mom even said that she wont want to be alone when her song(s) are being played over radio etc as its sort of eerie.. -

In 1973, she frequently performed at KL Musical Hall (Sungei Wang Plaza), and did many Road-Tour Concerts throughout Malaysia with 'Lai Fong Road Show'. In Singapore, she performed in many concerts as well as charity shows, throughout the world tour in South East Asia. She was the 'Top Ten Most Popular Singers' in Hong Kong in 1973.

Already, 5 HKitalk members were banned due to this.
(Frankly speaking, as a visitor to HKitalk, I am quite angered by HKitalk's suppression of speech freedom. In fact, a Hong Kong bus fan website known as i-busnet www.i-busnet.com, whose webmaster was one of the 5 victims, had pulled the plug from HKitalk. Other sites and another Hong KOng based discussion board FunChannel www.funchannel.net sympathised the victims of this purge.)

Yesterday, when I check the Changi Airport Website. One of the flight was TO641 from Phnom Penh & AIB101 from Toulouse, seldom to be seen in Singapore, they are cargo planes.
There is also TH325 & TH326 from Kuala Lumpur, RH flights from Jakarta (eg. RH820) and even Y8 flights from Nanning (Y8 7973 & Y8 7974)
If you see the Teletext for NW5 & CO5875 for arrivals or NW6 & CO5876 for departures, it shows blank destination, actually, it arrives or departs at Portland.
