Were those VO2Xes from HGDEP or BBDEP? Adding on, I remember 132 had O305s earlier on.Originally posted by 105090:See today's Straits Time.
Hougang South Interchange, VO2x on 132
They are from HGDEP at first because I saw the VO2x on Sv 7, 14 (when the VO2x transferred to BNDEP later on) as well as on Hougang feeders like Sv 321, 322, 326, 327 & 328 while on HGDEP.Originally posted by iveco:Were those VO2Xes from HGDEP or BBDEP? Since when svc 14 came under HGDEP?Originally posted by Apex-LW'21:They are from HGDEP, saw the VO2x on Sv 7, 14 & on Hougang feeders too.
That was the later part when some VO2x were transferred to BNDEP and later deployed on SV 7 & 14. (There is one pics of a VO2x on SV 14 on the Singapore Bus Handbook)Originally posted by iveco:Since when svc 14 came under HGDEP?
Some of the VO2Xes on svc 14 were BBDEP ones. I know 7222 & 7223 were among them.Originally posted by Apex-LW'21:That was the later part when some VO2x were transferred to BNDEP and later deployed on SV 7 & 14. (There is one pics of a VO2x on SV 14 on the Singapore Bus Handbook)

SV10 was the first SV to get the VO2x and then follow by SV 7 if i remember correctly. 7211-7214 were deployed on SV7 i think..
Svc 18 had VO2Xes back in 1996-98. Wished they were on 106 instead as the latter had those chugging LAs.Originally posted by Apex-LW'21:PS: I've saw the pics of VO2x on Sv 7 & 14 on the Singapore Bus Handbook, so I believe that they are under BNDEP.
The book contains the other 2 pics of VO2x on SV 18 & 65.

[*]In 1992, SBS introduced 5 Mercedes Benz 811D minibuses that were bodied by a local company called Asia Coach. These buses were initially deployed on services M1 and M2. In 1994, Dennis Darts replaced the 811Ds of the two services. The 811Ds were then deployed on the newly introduced service 20. After service 20 merged with service 125 on 27 Nov 2000, these buses disappeared for a while, only to reappear on service 323. When service 323 was withdrawn on 24 February 2002, these buses once again disappeared. In June 2002, these buses were spotted on services 42, 182 and 183. They were used only for a very brief period of time before being de-registered by November 2002. Interestingly, one of these 5 buses, SBS8005K, was repainted in the new livery before being de-registered. All 5 buses were sold by February 2003. [/b]

if i were sbs back then, id sold it no matter wat the mileage is. Can u see its not used and the pax limit also isnt that big. Even if its a volvo or scaniaOriginally posted by hseochin:Sold to who & where ??
What's the total distance driven (mileage) when sold ?
11 years old only (for an M-B) seems premature to stop using them.
20 to 30 years is more within expectation !
