let me make this clearOriginally posted by Apex-LW'21:PS: I've saw the pics of VO2x on Sv 7 & 14 on the Singapore Bus Handbook, so I believe that they are under BNDEP.
The book contains the other 2 pics of VO2x on SV 18 & 65.

196 ones rocked. they got the newest ones. (7295 7296 7297 - 7295 seems split with 190)Originally posted by SBS9611D:A bit on VO2X past deployment:
Svc 7, 10, 12, 14, 18, 30, 31, 61, 65, 70, 81, 99, 132, 147, 153, 165, 166, 186, 190, 196, 198 had them for permers at one time or other.
you are rightOriginally posted by iveco:Not so far back. I am talking about 1996-97. Seen the device on Mk II and Mk III buses serving on 96.
Ya, there are only 4 VO2X from BB Depot. For Sv 7Originally posted by ZYX2005:let me make this clear
s7 was HGDEP all the way only till recently. so the vo2x are from BBDEp
14's case is unsure. prob BBDEP. they could cameo on 61

Svc 14 was ARBP/BNDEP all along, wasn't it? Same for 65. Wouldn't be surprised if 14 & 65 swapped buses occasionally.Originally posted by ZYX2005:let me make this clear

But the LAs were phased out in 2000, weren't they? Why would SBS upgrade them at all?Originally posted by brotherchen1982:Remember taking some LA/LO2xs on svc 28/154/157 with the pink/green seats cover & black plastic covered seats handles; upgraded like the type of seats(blue) & seat handles of a V02xs...
*Normal LA/LO2xs had blue/green seats & uncovered metal seats handles.
Do you mean the opening windows were removed? Quite a lot of them had their front opening windows replaced with a non-openable one.Originally posted by Apex-LW'21:I did recall that 2 LO2x DDs have single sheet windscreen.

Actually there's a lot more buses, mainly JIS busesOriginally posted by Apex-LW'21:I did recall that 2 LO2x DDs have single sheet windscreen.

Actually, there is a pics of SBS3555Y on Sv 97 also, it can be found on the SBH. (photo taken before the replacement of single sheet windscreen)Originally posted by brotherchen1982:Actually there's a lot more buses, mainly JIS buses
Some spares of LO2xs were not produce anymore, so they replaced them with sheet windscreen instead.
The pics of SBS3567M can be found on someone's photobucket/fotopic album...![]()

I remember there was also another older service 188 from Ulu Pandan to Shenton Way. Soon Chow buses were used. I remembered taking this bus from Ulu Pandan to Outram Park when I was only a kidOriginally posted by Apex-LW'21:To point out that the old Sv 188 used to terminate at Jurong Bus Park in 1990 after Jurong Int closed.
Yeah, remembered the MB0305, all from there...Originally posted by ZYX2005:let me make this clear
