6907X is still with us! It is the bus used as a clubhouse at Youth Park. Another LO2x survivor is 7196Z which is now known as "Boobie the Gymbus".Originally posted by Apex-LW'21:The OLD Service 28 (Tampines to New Bridge Rd) was cut short to Toa Payoh during the 2003 NEL rationalisation.

To add on, 28 (TAM-BDK) was introduced in 1995, some 3 years after the major rationalisation of the early 1990s. It merged with 152 in 2000 and later was enhanced to ply some small roads inside Tampines. 29 provided cover for the sectors it was forced to skip.Originally posted by kuekj:Service 28 in the late 1990s was a Tampines - Bedok service, along with Service 18 and 69 which served the same two towns but in different functions.
The present service 28 is a marriage of service 28 and 152 which served Toa Payoh and Bedok.

The CAC Guy Victories made their appearance on Aircon 3 during that period; not forgetting also the Van Hool B10M and Renault PR100.2. Since Aircon 168 had ceased operations by this time, I believe the Mercedes buses were used on Aircon 118 as well.
[b]SBS Nissan Diesel U31SCN
In early 1986, SBS introduced 20 Nissan Diesel U31SCN buses, which all are air-conditioned. They were first plied on Svc 118. They have FHI bodyworks and assembled by Nissan.
In 2000, when 20 buses reach the end of the 15-year statutory age, 6 were retained as training buses, while the remaining 14 were retired. Their last deployment was on Svc 15.
SBS21R, SBS24H, SBS25E, SBS26C, SBS28Y and SBS29U were the training buses used between 2000 & 2003. All 6 were retired from training duties in 2003.

I'd like to know where 302 and 307 went to. And since almost all of us don't have a copy of the 1977 Bus Guide, would you please be so kind as to tell us the route details as well?Originally posted by Apex-LW'21:Have you heard of Service 239? (Toa Payoh - Kim Keat Ave)
This was mentioned in Bus Guide 1984 & 1985.
Svc 302 & 307 were used by SBS Blue Arrow Service in 1977 & 1978.
(Refer to SBS Guide 77 & 78 for route details)

Svc 3 later on received Scania OACs just before its withdrawal. It was also one of the first services with the route description on the side desto. Even touhgh my estate was served by these buses, I never got a chance to ride on them till much later.Originally posted by The_Bus_Guide:The Nissan Diesel U31SCN were first deployed on Aircon 3.
