If he can show me that he has one. He can't bluff a Sembawang resident here right?Originally posted by BluBlur:I thought cck_190 already stated the source is from the Sembawang newsletter?

Next time PLS Acknowledge your Sources my dear friendOriginally posted by cck_190:The Sembawang Town Council's newsletter states that the new interchange will start operations in early November.
Sembawang Bus Interchange is now unveiled to the public as the hoarding surronunding it have been brought down weeks age. The concept of the interchange is about the same as Bt Panjang Interchange and Upp Eat Coast terminal combined.
The interchange is located next to Sun Plaza along Sembawang Vista. However, do note that the Control Office is not fully completed and the computers and electronic devices have not been brought in.

don't think i get all my info from the other forum, okayI remember seeing a post from FS that said this:
It was mentioned in the Town Council newsletter that the interchange will operate from November..This is what TIB1171R said:
For those who canÂ’t wait to see how Sembawang Bus Interchange will look like, you can now take a peek at it as the hoardings surrounding it have been taken down weeks ago. There is a 4-service berth ala Upp East Coast Ter and two 3-service berths ala Bt Panjang Int erected so far.Hmmm.......You go figure it yourself.
These few services are most likely to be terminate at the Int. I read somewhere before regarding the development of Sembawang new town, feeders will be introduced. I shall not elaborate more as I do not exactly remember the content, as well as I do not have the document proof.Originally posted by carbikebus:Let me guess,Sv167/980/981?Fang Sheng can elaborated more?
Thanks![]()
Hey, that's great !! Looking forward to the opening... But will there be feeder services ?Originally posted by cck_190:The Sembawang Town Council's newsletter states that the new interchange will start operations in early November.

Service 167 cannot be a Sembawang / YCK service. Don't forget that 167 gets pax from Shenton Way, Orchard and Thomson area as well.Originally posted by SBS3641G:Hmm, if 167 is to operate from SBW interchange, what about the missing sector between the MRT station and SBW end? Another situation like 82 @ PGL point.
Sekali 167 becomes YCK-SBW end loop service a la current 82 since got 980 and 162 cover most of its route.
But is it possible to seperate it into 2 diff svcs? One from Bt Merah - Sbw and one from Sbw-Sbw rd end.Originally posted by off_service:Service 167 cannot be a Sembawang / YCK service. Don't forget that 167 gets pax from Shenton Way, Orchard and Thomson area as well.
Perhaps you can try taking the service again and tell me your views again.
This is the most likely outcome (amendment) to 167. It is more cost effective to let one bus, or at most 2, to run between Sembawang Int and Rd End Terminal.Originally posted by SBS9810X:But is it possible to seperate it into 2 diff svcs? One from Bt Merah - Sbw and one from Sbw-Sbw rd end.

And do you guys think service 167 be renumbered to maybe like 867. Smile
More like 987. And SBW MRT to Admiralty Rd West is served by 856. The closure of Admiralty Rd West terminal won't have a big impact, unlike that one at Sembawang End.Originally posted by 5454:And do you guys think service 167 be renumbered to maybe like 867.![]()
