The bridge is already completed in 2004. Service 962 has plied the mentioned bridge following it's amendment in May 2005.Originally posted by phillipC:Is Aug 2004 or Aug 2005?
if 2005, which mean is this month. How they are going to introduce new route since they have shortage of buses.
Some other services may be affected, maybe more UD buses will be seen on the roads!
Feeder maybe. Intratown? Unlikely.Originally posted by cck_190:Will there be a feeder or intratown service there?
Services 859 and 962 are considered Intratown services. Services 911, 912 and 913 has been re-named to feeder. So for services within Sembawang Town will only be feeders.Originally posted by cck_190:Will there be a feeder or intratown service there?
859 & 962 seem more like inter-town routes (in the mould of 38, 60, 83 or 101) to me. The way SMRT treats the 2 services gives the impression that they do not consider SBW a New Town in its own right.Originally posted by off_service:Services 859 and 962 are considered Intratown services. Really? When did 911,912 and 913 was renamed? wow...i never knew. what about the Yishun intratowns?Originally posted by off_service:Services 859 and 962 are considered Intratown services. PSR got no more berths.Originally posted by iveco:Hope there could be new services to PSR & PGL from SBW Int.

Stark contrast to EUN.Originally posted by delonchew:PSR got no more berths.
No idea. All former Intratown services, services 307, 811, 812, 911, 912 and 913 are now feeder services.Originally posted by cck_190:Really? When did 911,912 and 913 was renamed? wow...i never knew. what about the Yishun intratowns?
To me, the 6 former Intratown routes run by SMRT (formerly Tibs) are as good as SBST's Townlinks. In fact, 811, 812, 911 & 912 were among the pilot batch of Townlink routes. The others were 268, 291, 293, 357-359.Originally posted by off_service:No idea. All former Intratown services, services 307, 811, 812, 911, 912 and 913 are now feeder services.
I believe this change is the adopt the new meaning of "Intratown" services, example services 3 and 38 for SBST, services 965 and 969 for SMRT Buses.
but it seems that 307 is still being referred to as an intratown. all the bus stop boards indicate it as an intratownOriginally posted by off_service:No idea. All former Intratown services, services 307, 811, 812, 911, 912 and 913 are now feeder services.

Yes, the main problem travelling out from S'wang is when going to the NorthEast and East. Have to take a bus or MRT to Yishun to transfer to 39, 858, 969, 965.Originally posted by iveco:Hope there could be new services to PSR & PGL from SBW Int.

Ask SBST. No idea here either. New destos for 291 and 293 still reflect Townlink statusOriginally posted by dO|pH|n3 a.k.a JaMiE:I saw that Townlink 358 has been rename to 358 but how come Townlink 291 and 293 did not?
How do you know that Townlink 358 has been renamed to 358? Based on the front desto?Originally posted by dO|pH|n3 a.k.a JaMiE:I saw that Townlink 358 has been rename to 358 but how come Townlink 291 and 293 did not?
Yup.Originally posted by delonchew:How do you know that Townlink 358 has been renamed to 358? Based on the front desto?
The side desto still labels the service as Townlink 358. I believe that they were just reprinting the front desto and decided to go for a standardised look.Originally posted by dO|pH|n3 a.k.a JaMiE:Yup.
