ya i agreeOriginally posted by The_Bus_Guide:Midtown Madness 2 is the only game I've known to include city buses among the vehicles of choice. Other vehicles can be easily downloaded and stored so that you will eventually have an impressive garage. Unfortunately, this game was released a long time ago and many sites offering free add-on downloads have closed down.
You can really enjoy being a London bus driver but there are 2 things that irritates me the most.
1. The traffic lights turn red very quicky. You will find yourself stopping at every junction (if you're the 'as real as it gets' type). And depending on the traffic intensity you chose, you will have to wait until the second or third round before being able to pass.
2. If you decide to be a 'safety conscious' bus captain, forget about it. No matter how hard you try to prevent your bus from hitting objects, some looney driver will always crash his car into you. To make things worse, it will blare its horn and make some stupid remarks as if you are at fault. Sometimes, I get so fed up I abandoned my 'duty' and ploughed into every car in sight, laughing as the inferior vehicles tumbled and rolled under the runaway B10TL, before finally plunging into the Thames.
This game don't require a CD to run. If you can't find it anywhere to buy it, all you need to do is borrow the CD from someone who has the game and install it.
Try Midtown Madness 3..only avail on xbox....the traffic lights timing seems to be improved...only downside is there is no tacho....and the auto gear is very slow...use manual and its not very hard....the (!) sign will come out when u have to upshift......If you use manual, by the time u upshift to the last gear when the (!) sign come up u can hit up to 140km/h...which is the bus top speed......can also hit 160km/h+ which is the last digit on the speedo if u go down a slope(best one is the one at Paris highway)Originally posted by The_Bus_Guide:Midtown Madness 2 is the only game I've known to include city buses among the vehicles of choice.
