Actually it's 3 months earlier, back in September, when service 7 was the first to get these buses.Originally posted by iveco:Strictly speaking, the VO2X is not Superbus since it is NAC. The term "Superbus" was coined by SBS iin December 1993 to refer to the new-to-Singapore ADDs.
7? and all along i tot it was 106 as SBS had this welcome ceremony over at Serangoon Interchange....I remember the banner being there at 106's berth...Originally posted by tranquilice:Actually it's 3 months earlier, back in September, when service 7 was the first to get these buses.
9000 was initially deployed on 7. Won't be surprised if this bus was under HGDEP back then.Originally posted by muziq bus:7? and all along i tot it was 106 as SBS had this welcome ceremony over at Serangoon Interchange....I remember the banner being there at 106's berth...
the NEL also showed a picture on that in the train's TV....i tynk..
Well, my favourite is the Dennis Trident...
HGDepot was the first depot to receive the LO 3 axles before they were transferred to other depots after the arrival of VO 3 axles.Originally posted by iveco:9000 was initially deployed on 7. Won't be surprised if this bus was under HGDEP back then.
If I'm nto wrong, Svc 10 was the first to get VO3X and VO2X (NAC). Which depot had conrol over those buses? BBDEP or BNDEP?Originally posted by Airbus330Captain:HGDepot was the first depot to receive the LO 3 axles before they were transferred to other depots after the arrival of VO 3 axles.
I believe Bndepot were in total control of svc 10 at that time .Originally posted by iveco:If I'm nto wrong, Svc 10 was the first to get VO3X and VO2X (NAC). Which depot had conrol over those buses? BBDEP or BNDEP?
I am really glad that the VO3X are dominant in my district. I like all of them, especially those with rear windscreen. One of the more decent buses around.
Trident: Only taken once (9675 on Svc 147). Don't really know much about this bus.
VSO: I have not boarded one, so I can't be the judge.
LO3X: never quite liked Leyland buses, from LA era until now. The lower saloon of the LO3X usually has some diesel smell. Can't figure out why.![]()
In fact HGDEP receive almost all new buses before handed out to other depot previously.Originally posted by Airbus330Captain:HGDepot was the first depot to receive the LO 3 axles before they were transferred to other depots after the arrival of VO 3 axles.
