The SMRT Challenge, held on conjuction with SMRT's courtesy and Safety Programme 2005, aims to promote safe and courteous behaviour within its network of trains, buses and taxis.
Date : 2 October 2005 (Sunday)Time: 8am-6pmFlag off venue: Woodlands MRT Station Attire: Casual. Participants will be issued SMRT challenge T-shirtsThe RaceAt flag-off of the 6 hour challenge, each team will be issued a Challenge Passport and a set of clues. The teams must crack the clues and plan the fastest routes across SMRT's network of MRT and LRT stations, taxi stops and bus interchange.
At each checkpoint, the teams must successfully complete a "Mission" related to courtesy and safety to earn the coverted "Challenge Stamp" in the challenge Passports.
Victory awaits the team that returns with a completed Challenge Passport, displays an intimate knowledge of safety and courtesy, and of course the best timing for the SMRT Challenge!

Registration forms are available at all SMRT stations and bus interchanges (Bukit Batok, Bukit Panjang, Choa Chu Kang, Woodlands and Yishun) and can be downloaded from
