i believe 961 is not controlled by AMDEP because the 1st bus for svc 961 out of Lor 1 Geylang Ter rolls out at 6am. in contrast, the 1st bus for svc 980 is 5.20am! so 980 needs AMDEP control coz' it's nearer.Originally posted by iveco:If that is the case, shouldn't 961 be dual control as well? It is a rather long route.
105090 had mentioned this number already.Originally posted by Volvo Olympian:And 93x
This will make changing shifts of Sv. 167 and Sv. 980 bus captains a very interesting process.Originally posted by ^tamago^:882 is under AMDEP. Sembawang Int is under the purview of AMDEP. That doesn't mean 167 and 980 will go full AMDEP, but rather it's just the control of interchange and the Sembawang route group.
i just realised there's this sudden interest among everyone to have a link to Changi Village frm practically everywhere!Originally posted by cool_elf:I think it's a good idea to extend SBST 29 to sembawang int. A link to the east side. Sembawang - Tampines - Changi Village![]()
in fact, either pasir ris or Changi Airport MRT station is still extendable to Loyang, Changi Village and Cargo Complex, etcOriginally posted by sinicker:i just realised there's this sudden interest among everyone to have a link to Changi Village frm practically everywhere!
I guess they're trying to connect the industries at Loyang Ave to other parts of Singapore more.. and the only way to terminate it is at Changi Village, or loop it at Changi Cargo Complex (if it's not already too long?).Originally posted by sinicker:i just realised there's this sudden interest among everyone to have a link to Changi Village frm practically everywhere!
id say they better mke it from pasir ris... Arghhh cant stand all the digging and stuffOriginally posted by Edgar_Davids:in fact, either pasir ris or Changi Airport MRT station is still extendable to Loyang, Changi Village and Cargo Complex, etc
wonders will LTA access the feasilibility of extending, just like extending from boon lay to joo koon
882 is just a feeder svc.Originally posted by SBS3688Y:With the opening of Sembawang Interchange and intro of svc 882, I wonder whether some of the existing bus svcs be re-numbered in the near future?
eg:
980 renumbered as 880
167 renumbered as 887
981 renumbered as 881
Tell me where in the world did you get that "fact" from.Originally posted by brotherchen1982:882 is just a feeder svc.
The adult fares on new Service 882 and amended services 167, 859, 980 and 981 are based on distance travelled.Originally posted by brotherchen1982:882 is just a feeder svc.
can make one big round without wasting time...Originally posted by sinicker:extend MRT to Loyang? that'll be a very sharp right turn. have to be done at 10km/h kind of turn.![]()

You must have a pretty good camera. My cheap digital can't even take pictures at that rate.. have some delay so can't take pictures of that bus in motion one after another like that.
Anyway, I'm wondering if anybody's taking pictures of the temp Clementi Int construction-in-progress and of the old Clementi Int.
