1) if u are carrying a bag make sure its behind u..but oso rmb to zip it up and make sure no valuables are hanging outside in case no molesters hits but a pickpocket does..

3) if u have nothing with u, just stomp on his foot or grab his hand and twist it till he screams..
otherwise just shout "OI TOUCH WHAT TOUCH LA HAND TOO BIG IS IT??" or anything along those lines..
4) do NOT keep quiet and look distressed..u will only make him wanna continue to take advantage of u..
5) if ur a cunning person..u can ignore no. 4 and use it as a bait..then when he starts to get comfortable u can apply no. 2 or 3 and make it known that he is a molester.. -
usually when bus is super cramp and ppl became statues and dumb and dont move behind (thinking a ghost is at the back) the BC will just leave the front door open and just stare in front, and wait for ppl to move behind.. teach those gobloks a lesson! (me also a victim)

yo! i once encounter this kind of BC....very effective...now very rare......my mum told mi last time in the TMO era....the conductor will get down the bus and shout "Move to the back lah!!! Sometimes when there are seats, the students like dare not sit with strangers izzit? And worse i hate pax taking the outer seat, can't they move to the window seat. Abit of sun wun hurt right? Wah lau...the bus is air conditioned already. As for the dangers, i've experienced the bus suspension turned wobbly and the DM CAC 0405 tilted to the left. Kind of scary when you see almost every single person on the pavements and bus stops look at your bus and you know something's not right.

Think about it..
If BC got a rule.. if got ppl standing on steps, the bus MUST NOT move. As a customer, will u, as a customer, be more satisfied?
If the bus stop is packed, and got buses at 3 min frequency, first bus come (2nd bus not in sight yet), will the bus be boarded till overcrowded? That will be the case till the 2nd bus is in sight.. 3min later. Thus.. even if frequency is high, buses will still get packed.
I think the bese solution is similar to US practices. Draw a line near the ticket printing machine. When bus is stationary, no standing beyond that line.. (bus no move.) Over time, ppl will not board the bus when see ppl stand on that line.

WELL... Singaporeans are thick-skinned.. its very hard to get something into their heads.. and, the saying: "Cure is better than prevention" lets till an accident happens and we see how they will react..
really, theres just no co-operation and graciousness. call this a developed country? -

Door can't close = no move... is due to accelerator interlock, seperate subsystem from infrared sensor.

They are not selfish but their it is their mindset thinking like everybody like me too some things I am stubborn on and need some "brainwash" to become normal but it is difficult. So we need to have a massive campaign on this to teach all of us the safety procedure in bus like stand in the rear or whatever until the problem is solved which can take quite a few yearsOriginally posted by shinta:ppl are just selfish.
