Dangerous to overcrowd the bus right?

  as a student in tampines jc, frm tamp int in the mornings, we would take 19/37/81 frm tamp int. but 81 is on the stand-alone berths on the other end, so we tend to take 19/37 except those who dont mind walking more.
  
  37 is PAC on weekdays, so we take 19.
  
  29 goes a long way after its amendment, so we take 19. lol.
  
  however, we hav to fight(not to be used literally) wiv CACC/Loyang workers to board the bus. when the bus reaches our sch bus stop, the bus wud be loaded, everyone seated. no one standing. i think this is a waste. because of this, CACC/Loyang workers have resorted to take a bus to our sch bus stop, den board 9/19 when it is abt half-full aft tpjc students hav alighted. my classmates and i had a discussion as to why possibly, sbst wudnt want to have just ONE shortworking trip on 19 to our sch. and the reason we came up with was pretty reasonable. we use concession. so, we overcrowd these buses!!

  aiya...these overcrowding problem has been around for a long long time liao....as long as 30yrs ago(???)...nothing serious happen....last time BC dun even wanna close and some lorry dun even haf doors....isn't still like this...last time got conductor shout oso like this....now onli BC shout of coz the problem is still there lah....actually , IMO, i dun tink sumthing serious will happen...and the door kiap sumone's hand wun be seriuos 1 lah....u noe MRT, there is a way to prevent door from closing, tat is to put ur hand there and let the door kiap, den the train driver will re-open the door, but ur hand will feel any pain 1....i even did this @ KL trains...and the same thing like singapore....the licensed to carry thing to set according to a higher standards by relavent authorities....exceed and overcrowding like wad happen everyday in Singapore is ok lah....u look @ Sum parts of China or India....worse rite....

  its same for most dedicated industrial/school bus services..
  many of 74 passengers alights at AMK MRT, and many NP students will will have to board a bus to the MRT stop just to be able to board sv74.

  Front doors DON'T have sensors, which is why some buses are fitted with an extra mirror on the ceiling above the front door...so that the BC can see the steps behind the crowd..whether close door will kiap ppl or not.
  Rear doors got 3 sensors - 2 on the inside & 1 on the outside.
  All the doors have interlock though, including the emergency exit door.

  AFAIK, the extra mirror is for BC to view the validator nearer to him during the farecard era.....and yes rear door got 3 sensors(sum haf 2) sum haf 1 inside and 1 outside while sum had 2 inside....the the popping out in the middle of the exit doors contain the external sensor....if i remember correctly, last time the interior sensor is located at the sides, now it is located on top.....the interlock is to prevent bus from moving off when doors are not close...like MRT like tat....and oso the door stay close system keep door closed when the bus is moving faster then 5km/h

  That validator can be seen with the centre mirror, the 1 at the top corner is to see the exit mirror & the extra mirror on the ceiling is always facing straight down. I've also noticed that the buses with that extra mirror mostly ply routes that are always overcrowded such as 7, 99 & some JIS VO2Xs.
