  thanks. i coined the idea much earlier when FFw 97e took off.
  
  2 full months after i suggested it to them, they replied after a through study that they have no plans to have a service like FFw 162e.
  
  fyi, i also live along the route of 162 but tough luck, so we can just wait.
  
  and the idea of 147e is excellent.

  okay, that was me being a bit corny. honestly, i dont think they would introduce another FFw svc frm the other side. if it happens, then the service would be more saturated with the FFw buses than the normal buses and it would be seen as a move to "increase fares during peak hours when loads are heavy."

  sv10e number is on the bus stop.saw it tis morning. there will be 3 buses plying the route...

  I guess that Sv 10e is 3 buses and Sv 30e is 5 or 6 buses during peak hour. Sv 10e and Sv 30e are at BNDEP..

  at the sbstransit travel guide, 522 gives 10e, 523 gives 30e and 524 gives 89e.

  its quite funny.. 10e only operates for 30 mins per direction per day whereas others are 1 hour, and looking at its route, the express sector is only 8.5 fare stages, of which half is along nicoll highway.. its pre-express sector has a whooping 24 stops! some more east coast rd isnt a high density population area..

  Why not have Fast Forward 143e? It can start its operation from Toa Payoh Interchange or Jurong East Interchange and end at Harbourfront?

  Most likely, it would be Clementi >> City.. I dont really think that they are going to have a Hougang to City Route as there is already a NEL there supporting..

  but the FFw would be more expensive. and taking the NEL, if a person switches to the SMRT lines, the cost would be shared according to distance.
  
  so, the FFw, at a higher price, can possibly pay off some of their losses frm operating the NEL.

  For morning peak,
  30e from Bedok Int to Pasir Panjang Rd
  Offservice to Boon Lay Int
  30B from Boon Lay Int to Telok Blangah Rd
  
  Today saw a couple of the BCs forgot to bring the side & rear destos for sv30B so they just proceed with only the front destos without any side & rear destos.

  does all 5 buses serve 30B or only a few? cos by that time the last 30e reach boon lay, its already ~9am
