The reason for it to be $2 could be because SBST has introduced many new routes and hence, the production cost increased.(Services like CT,FFW, Citybuzz..)

Even with GST, it wouldnt be $2 as GST only increased 1 - 2% since the last production which also included GST and adds up to $1.50. The GST would not be more than 10 cents increase. So you are saying that the more bus services in existence, the higher the cost of the Transitlink Guide? -
It may be possible as there will be more info added to it. And there may and surely will be other reasons that only transitlink know. I am only guessing. Did you notice that there are 5 FFWs, 3 Citybuzz, 3 CTs,Parks 408, Sv34, 48, 57, 58, 115, 160, 170B, 181 and the amendments of other services.Originally posted by tranquilice: What logic?!

FYI, the 170B means 170 Blue Plate, 170R means red plate. They are short forms. -

yes, please do refer to the blue plate as 170X.
170A, 170B... is reserved for additional short trips, not alternative routes. -
The true reason could be that Transitlink had to produce less as there is already mighty minds street directory and they have to increase the price for it. I also spotted the poster at Toa Payoh. The book seem to be bigger than the past issue.

TNC 714, 715, 716 (Jurong Island)
Scheme B services
Bus Plus 541 & 547
Employee Bus (SBST): eg. EB88, EB42
Workers Transport Svcs (SMRT): eg. WT8 -

The Mighty Mind Version 2005 of the bus guide has been released on 1st October 2005. Same cost, $3.50, nothing new, just added some new services. I can say that the Mighty Mind Bus Guide is a Copycat version of the Transitlink Guide.

Will 159 be listed as a loop service or round trip in the 2006 TL guide? I know the online version still says it is a loop service from TAP despite the SBST eguide saying it is bi-directional, with the first leg starting from SKG.
As for 183, the info on this route has been updated on TL's eguide. -
