Hi guys
Despite critics of this forum for any reasons , the moderators and myself are trying our very best to improve the quality and forum style. Remember, without you guys, this forum won't exist. Keep the good quality posts going and as long you follow the rules, this forum can be a fun place for discussion.
Anyway , I added this thread so that I like to know feedbacks , what you like and dislike about this forum , what additional improvements this forum needs ..etc Basically your views ... feel free to post anything that makes sense please. The moderators including myself will discuss if there are any new suggestions.

first of all, yes this forum is very informative.. learnt many things from here.
however, (this may not be relavent), there is a noticeable lesser ppl posting/visiting the forum, as in those who were regular last time last 2 years ago, in other words, theres less respondants from a lesser pool of forumities.. nothnig much we can do there..
still, the current topics are still great and doing fine..
i can see the goodness of the off topic box, and it brings more variety to the forum.. dont have any suggestions for the time being -

Trolling must be stopped immediately, attention is being diverted instead to the most trivial arguments. Till then, I reckon Military Nuts Forum is a forum for me to reside instead.

I dont feel that language is that important as long as everyone can understand what someone is talking about, it would be alright.

Military Nuts is another big forum, but there are major differences in the running. The mods seldom if never post, for one. There are few of those major threads and its a pretty free-for-all forum, yet I notice that forumites there seldom bash each other, and though many threads are created every now and then, there are few duplicated threads. A totally opposite world there, you might say.

Ok , do not compare military forum with this forum. Most people in military forum are matured adults so it's not fair to make comparisons.
This thread is open for views and thrashed out any unhappiness among fellow posters. Do not bashed each other but point out your view. Hopefully with these feedbacks , the users of this forum will understand each other better and hopefully the forum's quality will improved.

Precisely why CenturionMBT should be in admin. His "Justice Pao" methods of dealing with flaming have earned my respect. No doubt he can't stand Idwar, but he won't allow the latter to be flamed. But they also contribute some good information here which are important also maybe you don't notice it??? as some of it are posted before you joined. Ok , let me be honest with everyone here since my heart is with this forum. People whom I will not mention has asked me to stepped down and give up this forum. The reason is because of some of the kids here are disgracing singapore buses fans which I dont get it. This is just a hobby, why do some of you guys take so seriously about it ? Like I said , you dont like it here, go and post in other forum or set up a new one, I have no problem with that.
Don't forget once upon a time, we were once a kids for those who were involved in this debate regarding me stepping down in 2 weeks. I will carrying on , trying my best to keep this forum going. One day, these kids will grow up to become fine gentleman, I will believe so. No one is perfect. God has taught us to be patient with one and another and I can see many of you guys are not .
By quitting, I feel that I am just only escaping from this problem.
Yes, I am not happy with some of the kid's attitude here but do you think it's the kids alone that are creating problems ? Some of the old birds are creating problems or are the reasons why flame war posts start. I will not mention any names over here.
To the oldbies :
It's up to you guys whether you want to continue posting here or not. My final word is to continue with this forum. The more forums the better. it's your choice whether you want to post here or not. There is always another forum to go , so why complain ?
To the youngsters :

Firstly, your heart is with the forums? No doubt about it, but in a bad way. You still want to cling on to the power you have as owner of Singapore Buses on SGForums. Period. That's your heart. You are not a bus enthusiast, but more of an aviation enthusiast. Unfortunately for you, the aviation peeps regard you as a pest, or in other words ostracised you.

Case of misbehaviour by you people!
LTA’s exhibition ‘The Journey – An Exhibition of Singapore Land Transport Development on the 10th floor of National Library (Victoria Street)
I have personally visited the exhibition on 23rd September, and was appalled to discover that the scrapbook provided by the exhibitors (LTA) has been abused with irrelevant entries and drawings, and filled with vulgarities and expletives. What is even more appalling is that users from SG Forums have also abused the scrapbook by posting thing such as ‘Terrorism thread involved by medicheng’ with the URL of the MRT forums given; Gorby107 was here with the URL given for the toilets forum; Muhd Faizal sucks (FYI he is Volvo Olympian), and a self-proclaimed SBS fan criticising SMRT Buses and listing out roaches in a particular bus. This incident has clearly shown that the forum users not only cannot behave themselves on a public forum, they are unable to conduct themselves properly and maturely without etiquette in public places. This incident has certainly cast a bad light on people from SG Forums and transport enthusiasts.
Clones on SG Forums/Buses
After much investigation, clones have been discovered on SG Forums/Buses. They include 1) iveco = SBS3641G = SBS9611D, 2) Volvo Olympian = TIB757H, 3) SBS3624G = SBS1908B = SBS2601D, 4) gorby107 = SBS2688D, 5) 105090 = Townlink 268 = SBS3572Y, 6) = sbskidz.
I would like to thank sbs&tibs aka Kok Pern for providing me with the info on the clones! -

As a slightly more passive and neutral voice here (and one of those calling for a clean up of this forum, or its closure), I would like to add that even if we were once kids, we never behaved the way the "kids" on this forum have. We did not steal, nor deface a public structure, nor did we even think about defaming any operators in public. We also did not engage in any activities which would tarnish our hobby. My suggestion is that every one of you take a look at yourselves in the mirror and ask yourself if you have done something to benefit this hobby. Because, clearly, I cannot see many of the kids even contributing one iota or constructive information. How I know this? I am the administrator of a number of forums and closed membership groups, and I will do my utmost to keep as many of you out of these groups as my powers allow me. Remember a certain Mike DTS? Where has he gone now? To the closed membership forums. Why? Because of you! Think about it. Your actions may even be to your own detriment. -

1. The ownership of the forum be handed over to an actual bus enthusiast (read, nothing personal).
2. Any posts which even closely resemble incitement to flaming to be deleted ASAP
3. All posts by known clones to be deleted as soon as they appear.
4. All non-enthusiast posts to be deleted. -
