the original point was about 10, 188 and the fact that commuters from Harbourfront, Pasir Panjang now have to walk to CLE MRT instead of having a direct bus service there, or they could transfer buses.
and bringing the buangkok MRT saga doesn't help because they are pushing for it to be opened and the reason for doing so is because the nearest operational NEL station is at Hougang Ctrl and it is too far for them to walk there so they would most likely be taking a bus there. Opening up the Buangkok MRT station means they could save 60 cents while having access to the MRT
and why would people have to take 151 from Jln Toa Payoh to Airport Rd and walk (i must say, the rather long distance) into PLAB when they can just take 90 directly (quoting you)? -

The issue is this, someone said who would be willing to walk that far. The ans is this, in reality, there are cases where ppl have to walk far -

Would you be willing to walk in the morning heat coupled with the fumes from passing traffic? Don't give me the crap about how "they have no choice" because that is FORCING them to walk because of a lack of alternatives.
