  Yeah, agreed. While CT28 on the other hand will fail miserably. Why? Simple. CLE to Chinatown, got 147, 166, 196 already mah. Why need another CT28? Which is a miserable svc anyway.

  Then how do you explain Bedok when Bedok has so many services to Chinatown like sv2,33,197 while CT18 does not suffer from poor ridership?

  Because CT18 passes through Bedok Reservoir and Bedok North which does not have direct services to Chinatown and also Bedok is considered a large housing estate. Comparatively, Clementi is a rather small housing estate, and with CT28 only having around 6 stops to pick up passengers in Clementi before hitting the expressway, it's no wonder that CT28 is failing so miserably.

  agree. CT8 passes by more stops, has a large coverage, and because AMK has more "chinatown-going people" along ave 4 and ave 10.

  for CT28, well, coverage is too little, and distance is quite short. MRT can brings u to outram park fast and direct

  9889U is a darn strange fella. It's S shift, how could it end up in HG Central at 1pm? Think it doesn't follow shift type. Jump shift.
  
  I saw it TAKING pax up at CLE in mornings, at 7am, 8am, 9am, 10am during school holidays. Its timesheet does not even pick pax from CLE Int.
  
  In conclusion 9889U is unstable schedule.
