Nearly forgot: I've also noticed a ticket booth for Triton Express buses at the Malay Village at Geylang Serai. I've heard they the buses depart from the car park in front of the booth, but I'm not sure. -

the buses from Golden mile are cool! Especially Grssland, Gunung Raya, Transtar and konsortium... they beat other buses hands down!

theres a long bus (like 997A) owned by Transnasional... Maroon livery with gold stripes...
They serve light food and paper. The bus is like a 12 metre bus (interior) with an area for the steward/ess -

I think the price must have gone up by now. At least you got "Ong Bak". I got some B-grade movie called "Spiders II" or something. Tried my best to ignore it. LOL. Wah! I don't know much about the 16-seater bus and I'm quite surprised that it's $56!

the S$16 to malacca is a promotion fare?
Grassland cost $26 from Beach Rd and RM26 from malaysia. free kaya bread and apple
BUT it cost RM12 from JB Larkin
and the time taken is almost the same.. need to go through customs as well..
some more one trip per day.. how to earn food? -

$47/person. 2nd Link. stop at Gelang Patah R&R to take food. mineral water and fruit juice provided. 3hrs later, stop at some R&R for 30mins to pee! upon departure frm R&R, hot milo provided. stop at Old Railway Stn.
disadvantage frm after Johor Customs to the R&R, an estimated 3hrs. the bus was so cold, and my bladder was abt to burst! when the bus stopped, i was the 1st to go down and pee!! cannot tahan already.
carbikebus, try the 16-seater one with PC games/massage chair ah. i heard it's S$56. but if you want great view, take Nice 2 and opt for the front seats, like wad i did. and take the morning bus, at night.. nothing to see. haha. -
