Yes indeed, remember the period of time when Sv. 88 used NAC N113CRBs and one day, the VO3X appeared out of nowhere.Originally posted by tranquilice:For example, service 88 started off as PAC with a full single-deckers fleet. After a few months, it was converted to FAC and double deckers were then deployed after surveying the demand.
Sv. 52 will be a SLBP service since it falls under the purview of Jurong East Route Group.Originally posted by 28_29_293:so this sun soon lee bus park/bt batok depot (for svc 52), hougang depot (for svc 43) & ang mo kio depot (for svcs 52 & 59) & maybe bedok north depot (for svc 43/59) will be having bus deployment changes. So let's wait & see wat happens.
Even overloaded buses, insurance co not going to pay... That's why die die SBS never admit there are regular overloading tripsOriginally posted by 105090:all these flexible routing issue.. i always see 174M using farrer rd as usual.. maybe these fast forwards services can be considered "fast" if they overtake at least 2 of the parent route buses.
So far, the only refular and flexible routing i experienced is non other than sv170..
also, if a bus strays off its designated route and say mets with an accident, who is going to be responsible? insurance company can refuse to pay also..
Hope that the first few days of operation of these new services, their frequency can be better. I remember the time when service 58 is just introduced a few days before my ride, I have to wait for nearly 20 plus minutes for the bus.Originally posted by 28_29_293:so this sun soon lee bus park/bt batok depot (for svc 52), hougang depot (for svc 43) & ang mo kio depot (for svcs 52 & 59) & maybe bedok north depot (for svc 43/59) will be having bus deployment changes. Then how do you explain Svc 506? THis one is under BBDEP's responsibility.Originally posted by SBS9818A:Sv. 52 will be a SLBP service since it falls under the purview of Jurong East Route Group.
DM 3500 (2754-2757 and 2763-2770) appear on SV 88 first, before being replaced by VO3X (9613-9620 + the rest)Originally posted by SBS9818A:Yes indeed, remember the period of time when Sv. 88 used NAC N113CRBs and one day, the VO3X appeared out of nowhere.

For withdrawn services or services no longer calling at a stop, a red sticker was pasted on the number.Originally posted by tanjun:A question of curiosity. When does SBST put up new numbers at the metal pole on every bus stop whenever there is a new bus service on the way? And what material do they use to sort of add or erase the numbers on the red SBST board at each bus stop whenever there is a new bus service or a bus service is going to be withdrawn?
174M is a NiteOwl service. FFW = 174e. Some of the FFW BCs use Farrer Rd, PIE, Jln Jurong Kechil while others use Holland Rd, Clementi Rd, Upp Bt Timah Rd.Originally posted by 105090:all these flexible routing issue.. i always see 174M using farrer rd as usual.. maybe these fast forwards services can be considered "fast" if they overtake at least 2 of the parent route buses.

yeah they only run during the festive seasons, so probably they thot it isnt worthwhile to put them up on the bus stop plates. moreover, ppl who wanna go out on late nights probably would have "planned how to go home" already.Originally posted by Apex-LW'21:What happened to 16M, 89M, 162M & 181M? I don't see the bus svc nos on bus stop plates anymore, but it operates during festive seasons if I'm not wrong.
