Is the VO3x toy models worth the buy?
There was supposed to be LAs toy model with SBS livery but then, problem with the name arosed..
New Sentosa Volvo B7 buses toy models are out!!

SBS used to sell the VO3x bus models for $49 or $98 per pair.
same for the NEL train model ($49?)
wonder if this bus can move or is wheel-dead? -

I've 1 unit Mercedes-Benz O 405 citybus to clear !!
Original bodywork (of course) in LHD, blue colour roof with orange colour over rest of bodywork. Model made by Wiking in Germany 1:87 HO scale.
In excellent showroom condition ! Hardly used !

As i've another O 405 already this unit is 'extra' to me & is taking up my showroom space hence my intention to clear it off.
Willing to consider swap with an O 405 N, O 405 G or O 405 GN.
If higher OMV than mine then i don't mind topping up the cost difference ! -
This bus can move. It is very,very detailed. Inside it you can see theTV Mobile screens, EZlink card readers, Validators and the grabpoles. It is worth buying as it is limited edition. However, i would recommend that you buy direct from SBST as those in Singapore are the earlier ones produced. Mine is number 238. If you buy outside, you would probably get numbers 1000+. for the SBS VO3x, i saw the length is not more than 20cm in length..
now i wonder if this Sentosa Bus model is as promising

guys on the same note i actually "won" a The Sentosa Bus.

still in box unopened, and occupying space in my cupboard so anyone wants?
of cos if anyone is willing to pay a complimentary price for it would be good.
i leeched the below photo from the internet, the box is unopened with scotch tape.

It is said here that a TRANS ISLAND Habit was supposed to be produced but problems with licensing had cause the plan to be cancelled....(the same case as the Leyland Atlanteans...)

I've heard before that the problems were because of the change of management for tibs. S$ 20 ?? i've to admit that's too low & not even enough to cover my purchasing cost i recall around S$ 40 these things don't tend to come cheap here & they only import a few & once the stocks depleted they don't tend to bring in anymore, which i find is 'good' because that helps to preserve the investment value for those few people who bough them here.

From the photo, the model look quite high quality in detail sharpness & finishing etc. But i don't think it accurately models a Volvo B7R because the window-still waiseline is too low (like that for low-floor citybuses) which the B7R cannot possibly be, with it's much higher height bus-chassi.
Perhaps they 'anyhow' pick a bus model & passed it off as Sentosa bus ?!??
BTW, what's the model maker's brand & what scale ??

Actually.. the so called Sentosa Model Bus is jut a TOY to me.. Nt really a "MODEL" to me.. From what we all know, the peeps from sentosa mentioned that itz a Volvo B7RLE running on the Island itself.. BUT.. if you look closely.. it looks more of a MAN NL263 rather than a Volvo B7RLE... Btw.. if you guys are looking for a TOY.. i would recommand that you do not buy the SBST model.. it doenst worth it.. it is meant to be a Collectors Item.. Not a Toy for us to play with...
