Which reminds me. I took my Uncle from Sarawak on a sight-seeing tour on public transport and yesterday I took him from HG to WDL on 161 (9171G). he has never taken double-decker before, so it took me some time to convince him to seat in front to get a clearer view.

Anyway, the BC was in a bit of rush and as we were hurtling down the TPE at what must have been in excess of 65km/h, some crazy car driver cut in front of us and jam brakes to enter Jln Kayu. The bus swerved and my poor Uncle was not quite the same for some time. Imagine my Uncle's face when he saw the give-way ad he asked me to look at, I felt quite embarrassed to tell him it was to encourage drivers to be more patient for buses. Of course a whole host of ugly events followed, eg. taxis turning right just in front when we were speeding down the road. Small wonder I saw an accident some time ago involving a taxi(coincidence?), and a poor MB0405 on 72 at HG Ave 8 junction, it was quite easy to tell that the taxi was at fault, trying to turn in front of the bus. Small wonder the taxi managed to spin to the curb(bus must have hit it in the rear wing), fortunately no-one was hurt.
