New Service Parks 409 - HarbourFront to Mount Faber Park

For sure, I know, there will be a change of bus fleet deployments when Svc 409 is going to introduce.
This services will be the first Parks Svcs to end at 3am! BTW, any demand after midnight?
This press release did not state when this svcs will commence its operation.
TL Guide for Svc 409 is also not up yet. -
when i visited the SBST website, there was no mention of such a statement on 409

i remember few years back...i took a coach up mt faber and it took more than 30 mins to come down as there were cars parked at the side of the road, the driver had to manouver slowly down the winding road...

Frankly speaking I am very elated to hear its commencement and so one day I would like to take some time out to try this 409!
Also given its advantages on fares, it would possibly defeat the taxis, the private motor vehicles, and the cable car itself! -

Frankly, if I am going to a pub at Mount Faber and leave after 12am or later, I'll rather hail/book a cab to get home instead of catching the bus. Still have to wait for the bus. Then the furthest Parks 409 brings is Harbourfront Interchange. I go Harbourfront do what, when I don't have any connecting transport back. But seeing that captured map, it is making 1 round near bldg where they handle Cruise Cargo, that Port Inst Bldg
Weekday run till 3am dun think it will work, as many would rather take cabs... -
i don't see any reason why they should operate it frm 12am and beyond. there's no longer connecting buses down at HarbourFront by then!
