But getting the print edition as there are limited info. Only was a Sv 93 passenger complaing against the NAC WA MK2
eh, bro, u sure Mk II's will serve until 2009 not? Their retirement time frame is from Mar 2007 to Apr 2008.Originally posted by iveco:So far, the CRBs will be gone by the end of 2007. Majority of the Mk IIs were given dispensation to serve until 2009. That leaves the VO2Xes as the final batch of NACs. The latter group also happen to be the last bi-axle DDs in Singapore.
Hope there is no more extn to lifespanOriginally posted by ^tamago^:13th Jun 2011 will be the date when the fleet of VO2X starts to retire. The date for the last NAC bus to retire is 23rd Feb 2012.
These dates assume that the statutory life span for public buses remain at 17 years.

But if it is upmarket area, many would own carsOriginally posted by iveco:158 is the only service that goes to DHS, meaning it is a school service. However, this school is located in an upmarket area of Singapore. WOn't be too surprised if people complain about 158 being downgraded.
Get over it, SBST275.Originally posted by sbst275:2) There are currently 36 PAC svs, the aircon and non aircon bus ratio depends on their loading (Obviously it isn't)
GET OVER IT.Originally posted by sbst275:If there is no prob with any bus sv, there wun be any complains from passengers
there's continued complaining because nothing is done of course if it was changed we wont be complaining about it will we?Originally posted by Zilchster:I'm really damn damn sian to hear people complaining incessantly on why there are so many NAC buses on 90/151 and what not! Come on, think of something new. It's the same old topic all the time. People are getting irritated by all this repeated talk.
Personally of course I would like to see 100% of the bus services being air-conditioned, but with the introduction of so many new service initiatives, the bus company is already stretched beyond their resources. Hence you get services like 32, 82, 103, 158, the HGDEP controlled feeders getting more and more NAC buses. Can't be helped. If the bus companies doesn't want to purchase more buses in anticipation of possible bus withdrawals with the opening of the Circle Line, there's nth we can do about it. Leave the professionals (eg the bus company) to do their jobs. Period.
And if you have so much time whining about NAC buses, I suggest why don't you contribute your time more constructively towards society, help out the needy instead of complaining over and over about the same thing.
It is expected to be ready in 2010.Originally posted by iveco:Circle Line completion is still years away.
then tell them to continue their complaining through the official channels. not here. of course nothing is changed since they are obviously not even complaining the right way!Originally posted by hisoka:there's continued complaining because nothing is done of course if it was changed we wont be complaining about it will we?
oh yeah and stop whining about us complaining
Even if you complain.. ?? Whats the use of it... ?? thats the problem of Singaporeans.. Only know how to complain... have you ever asked yourself.. ? If they have the chance.. will they be deploying the NACs.. ? NO.. it only make them lose money (AC buses charged higher fares).Originally posted by hisoka:there's continued complaining because nothing is done of course if it was changed we wont be complaining about it will we?
