Bodyworks are made by different companies.Originally posted by musli_bar:I got a list of questions I've been baffled all these time:
1) What's the difference between mk4 strider and dm3500, in terms of appearance - other than having the label 'strider' on striders?
Okay.. this is a little tricky:Originally posted by SBS9828X:Qn!
How do we diff buses of diff depot/svc?
I see...Originally posted by SBS9816E:Okay.. this is a little tricky:
bram/amdep: sticker with rt. numbers printed in Times New Roman.
slbp/bbdep: big white piece of sticker with the number being written on the it.
bndep: rt. number being written at a corner of the driver's cabin.
However, due to the fact that buses do transfer from depot to depot, what you may have seen is not accurate. For e.g.
SBS1792S was amdep 57. However, due to one of the transfers, it is now bndep 66. The amdep sticker that bears with the rt. number 57 is invalid.

SBS2751D was slbp 105. However, due to one of the transfers, it is now hgdep 105. However, the sticker on board is of slbp 105.

I think most, if not all the SBST buses have that barcode with the rego behind.Originally posted by SBS9828X:I see...
but i do see some sort of barcode at the back of some MK4DMs... in between sum numbers are the regos
sentosa?Originally posted by stooper:I think most, if not all the SBST buses have that barcode with the rego behind.
About the Jurong Island svcs, if only 7 buses served Jurong Island, then what about the other ex-PA buses? Where did they servce?
the numbers are the rego followed by either 'F' or 'R' for front and rear barcodes respectively, e.g. SBS0031LF/SBS0031R, SBS0983PF/SBS0983PR.Originally posted by SBS9828X:I see...
