theres a way to by pass speed limiters.
theres a panel/ box in the vehicle where the fuses etc are kept. the ones which keeps the engine, lights etc going.
the speed limiter has a fuse. pluck it out and the speed limiter is disabled. however, some other controls may be disabled................
this is called illegal tampering -

Normally I don't see Express 518 plying on Bedok North Avenue 1. It normally plys on the expressways. But how come did some Express 518 buses going to Pasir Ris Bus Interchange ply on Bedok North Avenue 1 instead? One such case I have seen before was with SBS 1896B. I'm not sure about the date.
So, on the whole, what is Express 518 doing? Why not on PIE but on Bedok North Avenue 1? -

It should be burnt very near my house, and it should be last year or 2004, cannot remember. Its not 2005. Hmmm anyone knows what is the advantages and disadvantages of horizontal engines(Used in O405/G, B10M/B10BLE as compared to straight-inline or vertical engine(Cummins engines)? Horizontal = difficult to manufacture, more expensive?

Nowadays we could see those SBST MB0405 with new rubber tube replaced. What was that replace for? Make the bus looks newer?

Those repainted ones have the black stripes painted over (like recently repainted 3749E, 3909K).
But the black stripes does give a sharp contrast from the shiny body! -

Erhh transerve is the position of engine, not the configuration. Scania N113CRB has a vertical engine with transverse position, most DDs have veritcal engines as well but have a transverse position. Mercedes O405 engines are horizontal as well as the Volvo B10M/B10BLE. Their engines were "flat" with their cylinders parallel with the ground. If I am not wrong, the Merc O405 engine is like the Subaru WRX. Both are mounted boxer-style.

YES! But in the boxer engine, both side of the engine has cylinders, for e.g. the engine has 6 cylinders, then both side will have 3 cylinders.
