That goes without saying, but it definitely looked better after it was painted in SBST livery some time ago. Actually ages ago.Originally posted by chickenlittle2:SBS 3625D looks older and bus is definitely very old.
mechanics usually repair at nite wen the buses come back frm svc and test drive round the area... seen bram buses turning out of bram and somewhat u-turning at bishan/braddell road junct or izzit 174M off svc?Originally posted by chickenlittle2:Is there any mechanical staying throughout the night to morning in the depot? As I always see drivers in blue collar shirt driving bus around Jurong west st 91. I guess they are doing some testing of the bus.
no la, oppsite direction..Originally posted by SBS9888Y:mechanics usually repair at nite wen the buses come back frm svc and test drive round the area... seen bram buses turning out of bram and somewhat u-turning at bishan/braddell road junct or izzit 174M off svc?
no la, 174M use the route along blk 931. They use the alternate route. Yesterday, they use a FFW livery bus and acclerate along there. Others days, I saw an unidentified Vo2x with 193 desto also use the same route back to SLBP.Originally posted by SBS9888Y:mechanics usually repair at nite wen the buses come back frm svc and test drive round the area... seen bram buses turning out of bram and somewhat u-turning at bishan/braddell road junct or izzit 174M off svc?
What about MAN buses? Why aren't they popular in SG? Even private operators shun them.Originally posted by carbikebus:I hope that other few units of OAC/CAC Scanias will get the same treatment,Scania is renowned for its longlife engine lasting(6-8 years) compared to Volvos(3-5 years)/Mercedes(3-5 years)/DAF(2-4 years)/A-Dennis(2-5 years).(For citybuses uses)
If use ECP/AYE, I think SLBP more convenient.Originally posted by sinicker:quite near mah. can use ECP come out bayshore.

There are 4 EB buses plying JW St 91 (EB35, EB41, EB42, EB43). EB35 uses a FFW bus. The Vo2x is probably driven by a mechanic doing a test drive after repairs.Originally posted by chickenlittle2:no la, 174M use the route along blk 931. They use the alternate route. 3704 likely written off due to fire or accident.Originally posted by swee_heng:what happened to 2838M , it is stated as Bus not in use for now in Sgwiki Bus deployments.
