Yes. And only 9 of them are A/P shifts. Duty 10 is the first P shift (10P).Originally posted by SBS BUSES LOVER:SBS 527Z SBS 548M SBS 3880H SBS 3903B SBS3904Z SBS 3858Z SBS 3810K SBS 3915S SBS 3873D SBS 3757G
Because, if you take notice at these buses. There is a step up to the seats. Especially on the WA buses, which have a constant step up throughout the whole bus.Originally posted by dfs24:I would like to ask why SBST decided not to have standing areas on their volvo MK2, MK3, and MK4? SLBP uses handwritten white stickers (and for a period green). BBDEP/AR just recently started to use handwritten stickers and they're white.Originally posted by SBS9806J:Which depots use stickers?
Reason is simple. For the Volvo SDs, they are all B10Ms. Which means to say, it is not suitable to have a standing area as the engine is there. unlike the Merdz where the engine is at the back. But do take note that sometimes, the design of the chassis do play a part though.Originally posted by dfs24:Thanks for the reply.

the AC compartment thing above the seats facing the front, makes the overall height very low, so if stand up, will hit the headOriginally posted by stooper:Because, if you take notice at these buses. Not sure why the LO3x don't have them though.
Oh! No wonder the VO3x can have standing areas while LO3x cannot.Originally posted by 105090:the AC compartment thing above the seats facing the front, makes the overall height very low, so if stand up, will hit the head![]()
Example : For transferOriginally posted by tankee1981:Hi guys, couple of questions for you.
When i alight and scan the EZ-link card the screen shows a fare which is made up of two figures, one figure followed by another in bracket. My question is what does these 2 figures mean respectively.
I understand that there will be some kind of deduction of the bus fare when a transfer is made such as between 2 bus services, MRT to bus or LRT to bus etc. My question is how do we calculate the fare should such transfers be made during the entire journey?
Many Thanks!![]()
I definately agreed buses with standing areas like Merc & VOs,JUST COMPARED a full B10Ms & full MBs during boarding & alighting activities.Originally posted by 105090:standing areas good meh..? maybe on feeder.
look at MRT.. everyone avoided the carriages like a plague.. in the end backfire
reduction of the 8 seats is very bad le.. some more the seats are near the exit, thats where many people likes to seat
Yesh! like SBS 539P still has the sticker for svc 73. That sticker was long long long time ago!Originally posted by choww:May not be reliable all the times. Some bus which have been redeployed to another service still have their former perm status there.

BNDEP just use any marker write on the bus... SLBP use a white square cardboard sticker with the no. written big and clear using any colour marker... ARBP/BBDEP use white paper labels written with a red permanent marker (quite small)... Latest HGDEP stickers are printed big in black numbering and a white background... older ones are in white numbering with either red or black background... AMDEP/BRAM sticker also printed but much smaller... actually too small... in black numberings and white background... some eunos DDs like 9888Y still have the old HGDEP stickers black background and white numbering...Originally posted by stooper:SLBP uses handwritten white stickers (and for a period green). HGDEP usually uses black or red stickers with white printed numbers.
BRAM/AMDEP use tiny printed white stickers with black numbers and they're sometimes very difficult to see from outside the bus.
no , that sticker appeared last year .Originally posted by chickenlittle2:Yesh! like SBS 539P still has the sticker for svc 73. That sticker was long long long time ago!
I couldn't see clearly, but when I saw 375U on 157 yesterday, it seemed to have a non-157 perm sticker.Originally posted by SBS BUSES LOVER:no , that sticker appeared last year .
the original sticker it had was svc 24 perm sticker . not 73
the question is how did the 73 perm sticker get there
it appeared after 539P went MIA for a month .![]()
