Wah,That's coaches/express buses standard,SG roads 12m bus need 380hp for what?travel 140km/h @ expressways??Originally posted by swee_heng:How i hope SMRT will buy Scania K380EB as the new buses as Scania K380EB is powerful & will be able to produce good speed , Scania K124IB & Scania 360 also not bad
9669M is not perm on SV 153 before NEL open. It was only transferred to SV 153 to replace those VO2x after NEL open and a lot of bus services were withdrawn/amended.Originally posted by SBS9888Y:HGDEP Control... i not sure if theres ARBP control and 9669M has always been perm on 153...

9669M was not perm on 153 before 85 was withdrawn.
Same for 9593Y, which I took it on 111 on the last day of 111 to Hougang Central
9594U another one, swapped for 153's 9329U which went to 147 then.
2779A was 80
7287P was 153, same for 7230, 7228
935D (Had Compasspoint ad) went from 153 to 27 and then back to 153 again, swapped with 961C.
Don't act clever when you dunno much.
Conclusion: 153 took in many of the NEL services buses after they were shortened or withdrawn.
9426Y and 9428S are the long permers. 9426Y had Tiger Beer ad for a long period of time.
9419T was 153 before it went 119 (which is like a few years back)
Off topic: 9670H was perm on 154, was swapped for SBS9625P of 165.
Arrogance? Its simply correcting your mistakes and to stop you from showing off what wrong facts you got all these while because it seems that you are trying to show off what you supposingly know.Originally posted by SBS9888Y:whoa i only talked about 9669M and u hafta use one whole list to go after...
and for that personal remark... speak for urself... dun make slamming personal remarks and criticise everyone... i made a tiny mistake yes... dun need to go to that kind of extent.... it just judges ur heavy arrogance in behaviour and attitude that u carry... and that is quite pityful i hafta say...

i think exhaust or catalytic convertor got some kind of blockage.Originally posted by Y_Shun:SBS 7295X (74 BBDEP)
There seems to be some problems with this bus...when it moves, it gives out a very loud sound(hurts our ears) >_>.
Anyone know what happened to it?
no need to travel that fast wat , can just try to speed like 190 on PIE/BKE can liao ma & besides , do u think buses (which have heavy velocity) can go that fast? if thats the case , then forbid coches from coming to Singapore , people who takes Scanias out change to normal Sg buses a causewayOriginally posted by carbikebus:Wah,That's coaches/express buses standard,SG roads 12m bus need 380hp for what?travel 140km/h @ expressways??
So which is better? K114IB , K124IB/EB or K340/IB/EB. I hear that some ppl say that K340IB/EB should feed the bill.Originally posted by The_Bus_Guide:There you go. The buses in SG can only run 60-65 max. So why do you want a 300+ hp SD bus when a 250+ hp bus would do? That is what carbikebus meant. Buses like the Scania 360 or 420 is capable of reaching speeds of up to 140 kmh. You can't forbid a high powered bus from entering SG and force pax to change buses at the Causeway. That's ridiculous. The speed of the bus is regulated by the driver, which means it can adhere to the speed limits in SG without problems.
I don't think so. It might look special, but its still the same as any VSO (My thoughts onlyOriginally posted by TWS4793:Must a BC be specially trained to drive SBS 9889U? The bus look very special.
