Does anyone know how the timing for the DDU (I think that's what its called) is regulated?
I mean for example, the timesheet states that the bus must pass fare stage 5 at 1700.
So does it beep to tell the driver whether he is early or late according to the time or according to the fare stage? Like whether it beeps high/low at fare stage 5 to tell the driver if he is early or late or does it beep at 1700hrs to tell whether the driver is delayed or early?
So far, I see no pattern. The DDU beeps everywhere, when the bus is far from bus stops, when the bus is at a traffic light, etc... -

It may seem complicated, but I suppose they just insert the timings for the block for every stop and let the computer do the work.
Once in a while the system server goes down and interchanges would show this:
East AVMS DDU server down, manual update.
There is also a number for the OCC which driver can call to if there is a problem when the system server is down. -
