Why bus drivers always print out ticket when they start their journey? what is that for? to see the fare stage? Yesterday, I board svc 182 and the driver was printing out the tickets about every stops! Why they do this for?

Basically most of the 39X buses were 55, from 390A to I think 396J.
390A was the first one to leave 55 for 238, then it went 231W, present condition not as good as I last took it on 231W. -
so can I say HGDEP, AMDEP and some other depots [can list if anyone knows?] had LO3X when they were new? personally, i only saw the influx of LO3X into JRBP services [ like 157, 197, 51] only at around late '95/96. i believe that a few JR services had actually got LO3X when new... anyone can list which are they?Originally posted by iveco:Both were perm on 106 & 147 respectively when they were new. -

JRDEP started taking in the LO3Xes from other depots after the first batch of VO3Xes arrived. They displaced the LOs on 147. -

so basically all the 7 depots in sg had handled LO3X for quite a significant period at some point of time [IMF not counted] right?
so VO3X totally/almost completely replaced LO3X in 94/95 in which depots? i think before 2000/2001, LO3X were kinda quite scattered around even though the 'mercedes' areas still have major control of them.
after the NE/NW swap which caused many BBDEP buses [and a minority from some other depots] to lie around, what other models were taken out other than those LO3X at BB? -

If have, why was it removed?? Maintenance fee too high etc? -

But why need to check using the tickets? He can check what fare stage he is in and what the exact time is using that blue thing (forgot its name, under the DDU). Because SBST want to save money, so use plastic destos. Like what happened to SBS9888Y, last time have EDS, EDS spoil, SBST save money so remove the EDS and replace with plastic destos.
