Yeah, and it also chimes when the BC presses the self-test button for the warning systems.Originally posted by SBS BUSES LOVER:most prob fuel level low or engine hot .
usually from my experiences , BC would drive slowly or keep on reviewering the engine .
Hmm , It still using the ZF Gearbox , not sure how the sound a bit drag , first time hear this.Originally posted by dfs24:Hi,
This morning, 5 Feb, I took TIB958U on SV 67. The bus engine sounded different. It sounded more powerful with a bit of gear dragging. Does anyone knows if this bus has a different engine or gear box or something?
Thanks
Er..TIB971E got a similar problem. Some SBST's ZF also got this problem. The gear seems to be stuck.Originally posted by dfs24:Hi,

Answer please.Originally posted by RvnRooRon84:What if there's NO ONE at the busstop that's flagging the bus, but the bus still calls at the stop?
What do you call that?
my dear friend:Originally posted by RvnRooRon84:Answer please.
i only foresee two reasons.Originally posted by RvnRooRon84:Answer please.
thers another dirty reason.. the bus want to enter the yellow box to go in frontOriginally posted by sinicker:i only foresee two reasons.
1. bus early. so must buy time.
2. go in, wait for traffic to clear so that bus can filter right to turn right ahead.
It was on 143 yesterdayOriginally posted by TWS4793:Soon Lee bus SBS 2703T was former Service 143 bus. It started to appear on Service 66 more frequently. Is it permanent on 66 now?
And today tooOriginally posted by SBS9806J:It was on 143 yesterday
As far as I know, it's either the one where the lockup occurs during 1st gear causing a bit of dragging, or it is the one where I'm not completely sure what's going on except that it's clearly ZF. The latter sounds vaguely like the Voith SBST 0405s.Originally posted by dfs24:Hi,

It sounds a bit like SBST 0405s just that a more exaggerated version. I think you are correct about the gear locking up in gear 1.Originally posted by SBS3625D:As far as I know, it's either the one where the lockup occurs during 1st gear causing a bit of dragging, or it is the one where I'm not completely sure what's going on except that it's clearly ZF. Explain please, 1888A also has different handle on the doors.Originally posted by TWS4793:SBS 3721J is the one and only bus with the odd handle bars at the exit door?
That means the handle bars are actually fitted at a different direction rather than fitting it for alighting. The odd handle bars are special. Though I don't get to use them during alighting, they are unique actually.Originally posted by Scania:Explain please, 1888A also has different handle on the doors.
Yeah, quite a number of buses have different handle bars or different doors. One of the 252 VO2x has yellow handlebars (like later batch VO3x) instead of stainless steel.Originally posted by Scania:Explain please, 1888A also has different handle on the doors.
Some are newer then the Volgren.. how to spot.. ? Look at the rego.. if the number is higher.. Means Newer.. But do note that this does NOT apply to the CSS buses and 1257C.Originally posted by dfs24:Hi,
Does anyone know why did SBST choose to convert the seating area into standing area on the MB 0405s a couple of year ago?
Also, I would just like to confirm that 0405Gs with the Volgren Bodywork is newer than the 0405Gs with the Hispano Habit bodywork?
