Anyone know what was the reason that SL deploy OAC MB 0405 on Express 502 to replace the CAC MB 0405 that was from the JIS service? If it is because of TV mobile? Not all had TV mobile!! like SBS 432M, SBS 470C! BTW, anyone knows the former JIS buses that were on Express 502..
I remember some, they replace wit about 5 OAC MB 0405!

What happened to 972X?? Why is it scrapped? Anyone here knows te story?

I noticed that there are 4 DAF scrapped. Does anyone know why? Is it because all 4 were involved in accidents?

And got one time, the bus could have gone pass a green trafficlight, but because he purposely go into the bustop (there wasn't a single passenger boarding or alighting) and he had to stop due to the yellowbox and passing traffic; then kena tio red light as he about to approach the trafficlight.
irritatingly annoying!

This reminds me! Got one bus stop, I think it's the 172 bus stop, heading towards BNL and just opposite Nanyang Avenue. That bus stop, entrance is before the traffic light, exit is after the traffic light. IIRC, the bus stop @ RDH MRT used to have a similar arrangement before it was shifted closer to the station. -
Oh that part , usually the 172 BC wun do this unless he is late or whatsoever , there was once i took 172 and when he see the red light he use the bus stop and chiong all the way , even though if someone were to alight there usually the bus will stop at the red light.Originally posted by stooper:This reminds me! No, it was not caught on a fire. Someone told me that an accident happened, and the accident was so serious that half of the bus was missing, and so it got scrapped.Originally posted by QX5216J:its was caught in a fire a few yr back if not wrong.
LTA requires all vehicles to maintain the chassis. If one part of the chassis is severely damaged to the extent where it is unable to be resuscitated, it may need to be sent for scrapping. -
And actually, there's something quite special about one of the LO3X. SBS 9197H of Service 22 had diamond-studded handle bars but it is of a silver colour.
