  erm most new bus models out there offered on the market are zero step models any way. they have no choice but to buy new buses which are zero step unless they go asian buses....

  Errrmmmm, MBO405 DM is NOT the perfect candidate. The reason is that there are 2 or 3 steps at the boarding and alighting point. That is the main disadvantage it has.
  
  The best possible way for SBS Transit to make their buses elderly friendly (note: Elderly, not disabled. Non ofthe public run buses are disabled friednly yet), is to remove that yellow divider pole at the boarding and alighting point.
  
  That would make the orange tag "This is a Low Floor Bus" more relevant to the facts of the matter.
