Singapore Buses Forum is now a public forum

  Regarding the public forum, let me tell you what i think is a public forum.
  
  ChitChat is the best example of a public forum. Like a free-for-all. Any topic may be discussed on Chit Chat etc. and public forum, the head moderator is usually "Jason".
  
  It literally belongs to everyone, and no one. open any topic u like, crap all u want etc.
  
  On the opposite of public forum, iis what Bus forum used to be. i will call it a closed users group forum. Examples may include The far Left, Starblue's Heaven etc.
  
  In closed users group forum, this forum may be set up by a group of friends who know each other at least. The topics discuss is in a certain theme, eg, buses. Th people who post in closed users group forums are termed regulars. They will post majority in that particular forum they "joined". Topics are opened by these regulars and replied accordingly, usually. The non-regulars, or i will call them "bona-fide" forumners, may post occasionally on the forum like Questions etc.
  
  For a public forum, besides the Administrator aka Jason, usually a moderator should look after it in terms of closing topics or editing unhealthy post etc, such as FireIce or Nick34 (cars). this moderator need not be an expert in the forum, although being a moderator gives a sense of belonging and loyalty.

  now that we're w/o a moderator, i hope the bus enthusiasts would open topics responsibly. i hope not to see topics like "today i take bus to school!" or anything similar to that.
  
  abt opening topics, as a standardisation, the first letter of every word in the topic is to be of the Uppercase. do not put a fullstop at the end of the topic title.
  
  be a responsible user.
  
  no flames. don't show off ur knowledge abt buses. read the user's replies properly. don't shoot a person just because he has made a mistake. kindly point it out to him.

  So, will SG bus forum continue to open as a public forum status ? And will all topics to be removed ? Because sometimes I need to refer back to some topics for information.

  yeah. this forum will remain as this state (for now). no topics will be touched.

  Hmm, well, I hope that the mods could restore and tidy this bus forum, and ask them to rejoin so that we could continue our discussion on buses.

  quite true. its like a severed hand being attached back, but that it has lose some of it functionality. well, we let the post speak for themselves.. i have confidence.

  It is at your own risk, but don't anyhow post. If you are banned by the Admin, other forum users will not be responsible for unneccessary posting.

  Seriously, i woould support the move of bringing back some of the Old Mods in this forums.. rite now, we can see that this forum is in a mess and that people are coming in and misuse this forum..
