Never mind, but I have the TL Guide 1999, just checked TIBS 864 route. I second that! It's rather troublesome that you can get to Suntec City in 106, but have to walk all the way to Esplanade to take the bus back.Originally posted by iveco:106 should return via this way.
Anyway, anybody knows why 97, 111 and 502 have the looping point set at "Marina Centre" instead of "Suntec City" as what SMRT has set to the buses? After all, these buses do not come as close to Marina Centre as those buses that terminate there such as 75. -

Since some buses loop same point, got different name, standardise lol!!!

Physically still same route.. Just different points, technically.. I still think they should standardise.. I feel that the bus is nearer to Suntec than Marina Centre and they should stick to familiarity than technicality.Originally posted by samtlk:Different looping points.

i observed 106's timesheet and noticed the driver rest for 5 minutes... so looping could be possible... rest at BB is 15 mins....but the drivers always chiong and have more rest time....Originally posted by iveco:Come to think of it, 106 can be a loop service. Even sv700A SCs also sometimes turn into the ter, then tell the passengers to wait while he go toilet. -

Heh.. give them a break.. what's 5 minutes compared to 20 minutes of waiting time at the bus stop. At least you get to enjoy aircon.

about waiting time.. dont u all think its good that at interchanges or some terminals, buses can leave their doors open and let passengers board and wait inside, rather than at the queues? once, an 858 without BC did this at Terminal 2.. good example..
