If its really underfloor then Scania OAC are the Pioneer of Underfloor buses in Singapore !Originally posted by sinicker:think it's underfloor.
some could be scrapped already.Originally posted by lemon1974:just found out that SBS3576L, SBS3580Z, SBS3582T, SBS3585K, SBS3586H, SBS3587E, SBS3591S, SBS3592P, SBS3593L, SBS3594J, SBS3616E, SBS3617C, SBS3627Z, SBS3630M are all in "lay-up" condition.
All does not have their road tax renew and is unable to put on public service.
btw, SBS3616E went missing from AMDEP. dunno where it have go to..
No... if it is scrapped, it wont be in "lay out" status under LTA info.Originally posted by Apex-LW'21:some could be scrapped already.
yes, agreed. it will indicate "no such vehicle" if the vehicle has been scrapped.Originally posted by lemon1974:No... if it is scrapped, it wont be in "lay out" status under LTA info.
In SGWIKI website, 6 NAC buses are listed as 'Training Bus' (SBS3576L, SBS3580Z, SBS3586H, SBS3587E, SBS3592P & SBS3594J are the examples.)Originally posted by lemon1974:No... if it is scrapped, it wont be in "lay out" status under LTA info.
U cant trust all the info at SGWIKI. If there is no road tax for these buses, how can they be used as training bus on the roads?Originally posted by Apex-LW'21:In SGWIKI website, 6 NAC buses are listed as 'Training Bus' (SBS3576L, SBS3580Z, SBS3586H, SBS3587E, SBS3592P & SBS3594J are the examples.)
SBS3616E parts was being stripped off i think. The engine cover/headlamp are all missing i think. However, cant locate SBS3616E at AMDEP alrd. Dunno where it go.Originally posted by ^tamago^:they are laid up because:
1) sbst does not want to maintain them anymore
2) using them as either spare parts vehicle cos N113CRB parts are hard to find
3) there is no point putting these NAC vehicles on the roads
when road tax expires and doesn't renew the road taxes, these buses cannot go on to public roads, so the buses might remain at the bus depots.Originally posted by lemon1974:U cant trust all the info at SGWIKI.
