Did you check the above website? As you can see the website above, it does not have the box to key in registration number.

i dun think SBST wasted their money in buying the buses. Original lifespan was 15 years and i think they have depreciate the buses value based on 15 years. So for SBST, it might better to "lay off" certain buses, to save on the road tax and keep their parts for replacement use and also these "lay off" bus, MIGHT have some problems with their engine or some other parts which is beyong repairs. So it might not be advisable to use these buses for revenue service and thus SBST have lay off these buses.
