FFW or express or Direct, they will always lose out to Shuttle Buses, and many other services.
Reason? other operators or shuttle buses (aka direct) only has 2 stops, example is Turf City.
FFW, Express, Direct, so many stops.. reach the end destination also so late..
want a good proposal? example we take is 174e.
Boon Lay int > 1 stop at Boon Lay Ave > 1 stop at Bukit Batok > Orchard Rd
limited stops. reasonable fares. -
Express 502 will be amended on Monday, 26th Dec 2005.
* Posters are up at Boon Lay Int & all affected bus-stops.
* Operating hours extended to 12am from Marina Centre.
* Different routing along non-stop sectors may be used.
* SWT 502A & 502B during peak hours from Monday-Friday (excluding public holidays). Morning peak: 7am-8.30am. Evening peak: 5pm-6pm.
* Refer to bus-stop plates for timings (subject to traffic conditions). -

and 518 route getting longer and longer before it hits PIE.. looks worse then former 501 and 502. -
