  I dun mind if they make use of innovations to help us, but dun use it as a reason to increase fares.

  Yup, NO LED means that SBST will save $$$ on maintenance costs.

  How about the BC annouce the bus stop by using the mic and broadcast it through the speaker??? just like some SMRT buses

  TIB872H have speakers but now not in use, of course. It may be possible in the near future.
  
  In Malaysia, the annoucement of the bus stop through speakers is on some Triton buses.

  the driver are not that good in English....look at what happened to the Sentosa's system...it was being poked fun....
