The cost is concern. Replacing all current SBST buses with those that have lower floors will benefit the disabled and the elderly, but the $1.04 billion will hit customers.Originally posted by sbst275:On the Home section
ComfortDelGro wants to look into SBS's service standard, corporate relations with customers and see what can be improved on

There could be poor customer relations or others that are on the part of SBS
This one I can't say because it could be due to the regular Orchard Rd bus crawl whenever Christmas nearsOriginally posted by Apex-LW'21:Information extracted from the Straits Times.
Bus drivers are expected to drive safely, ensure fares are paid correctly, and show concern for the disabled, elderly & the young. BCs will face people with different moods.Originally posted by sbst275:This one I can't say because it could be due to the regular Orchard Rd bus crawl whenever Christmas nears

SBST was criticised in recent weeks for long waiting times for buses, taking steps for improvements.
Once, a 68-year old retiree waited about 30 minutes for Svc 123 in Orchard Rd, when it should arrived about 15 minutes. SBST should put more buses since tourists were asking him.

festive seasons are just around the corner, the bus will be crowded, so waiting time would be longer.Originally posted by SBS9816E:To think that I have once waited for Service 105 for 1 hours and 15 mins. Who else can beat that man?! Heh!
Well... for what I have experienced, it happened during a normal peak hour. It ain't a festive season after all.Originally posted by Apex-LW'21:festive seasons are just around the corner, the bus will be crowded, so waiting time would be longer.
festive season, peak hours, bus breakdowns, overcrowded buses... are not valid reasons to let SBS9816E wait 1 hr 15 mins.Originally posted by Apex-LW'21:festive seasons are just around the corner, the bus will be crowded, so waiting time would be longer.

give the exact date? or a time range when this incident occured? so that SBS9816E can verify with the time he waited for the bus.Originally posted by sBs_boy:I know why SBS9816E waited 1hr plus for 105.. i rememebr there was a time whereby Serangoon Ave 3 kena Flooding.. all buses was stuck..
For that... I have to back track to Year 2002. I was waiting for Service 105 from 1700 hours to 1800 hours, at the first bus stop along Braddell Rd after the flyover. It was a terrible wait. 3 buses bunched up together, with 1 more that came after 7- 10 mins.Originally posted by sinicker:give the exact date? or a time range when this incident occured? so that SBS9816E can verify with the time he waited for the bus.
Festive Season issue can be very sticky, because bus op dun know when the bus queue up will start... But aft it starts, they will have to do something... It is still acceptable for the 1st 2 days, but aft that, it is not! In fact, KMB in HK do inform passengers of contingency plans of diversion in case of jam or whateverOriginally posted by sinicker:festive season, peak hours, bus breakdowns, overcrowded buses... are not valid reasons to let SBS9816E wait 1 hr 15 mins.
SBST should have placed notices on bus stops about this issue.Originally posted by sbst275:Festive Season issue can be very sticky, because bus op dun know when the bus queue up will start... Nowadays, NAC buses are quite uncomfortable to most passengers, they prefer AC buses instead.Originally posted by sbst275:Aparently on today's ST Forums, the 1st commuter complain was made against Sv 151's NAC bus fleet
