i think it a good move and it will give the residents in jurong west ave 4/5 better access to town . but i also think that it should still stop at clement stn as always ..

today(26/12/05)i went to take Express 502. i notice that there are some people who still doesn't know the enhancements made on that service.

Route info of Svc 502 at SBS Transit Website
Notice the route structure of this service is in a mess. Even the TransitLink Electronic Guide & SBST Website does not contain the enhancements of Svc 502.
Also noted that the Scc 502 desto has changed (with blue & orange background) -

Apparently, last trip of 502 on weekdays from Orchard Road is 9.42pm, Saturdays/ Sundays is about 10.54pm.
518A is the 3rd, 4th, 5th trip of the day from Pasir Ris Interchange in AM Peak. and 2 more trips in the evening
518B has 2 trips in AM Peak only, 2 trips in evening
Last bus departs Moulmein Road on 1200am on Saturdays and Sundays only -

When we check the SBST website bus guide, the timing information given for SV 502 is weird.. There is a 10 pm trip depart from Jurong West Extension for weekdays. But the timing for this trip went missing from bus stops from Juring West Ave 1 onwards and up to orchard road as well.
Also, according to the time table, SV502 will reach Blk 653B (fare stage 61) on 12.29 am on weekday, 1.26am on sat and 1.17 am on sun. This is weird. I think SBST have not updated their website data correctly. -

However, there are "downroute" from Suntec City at 2335 & 2400 on Saturdays, and 2342 & 2400 on Sundays. These 2 trips does not originate from Jurong West, but commences from Suntec Convention Centre.
Weekdays from Jurong West: 0600-2200
Saturdays from Jurong West: 0600-2200
Sundays from Jurong West: 0700-2200
Weekdays from Suntec City: 0625-2107
Saturdays from Suntec City: 0625-2400
Sundays from Suntec City: 0715-2400
So, there are ""Terminating at Bras Basah Road (Raffles City)"" trips. These trips will depart Jurong West at 2136, 2200 on Weekdays -

Can see the frequency between 1628 and 1713 trips is a nasty 45 minutes
So the trips are "synchronised" such that all trips will end up at Marina at frequency 0f 15-25 minutes.
