while some services uses a short route out of the town? eg. 34, 43, 81,168, Toa Payoh, AMK svcs etc?
for sv34 and 43, i say its to make people take a feeder or LRT to the interchange, and then transfer to another service. (main purpose of a interchage?)
however, this pattern is not seen from enhanced sv518.. -
So I guess this is the 21 new bus sv launched in FY2005... +1 for extn of Sv 183

in actual fact, any bus from any depot cud be possible... even SLBP... we never know which depot will be controlling 85... (we shudn even know this )

looks like 965 gotta work harder for its customers.. but then, its 2 different places. 965 along ave2, 85 is in the interchange.
another duplicating pair is sv39 VS sv858 (jln kayu-yishun)
now is sv965 VS sv85 (skg - Yishun)
maybe SMRT will get a Sembawang > Yishun > TAM ? -

Happy that got new service that passes through my estate, but sad that I have to walk a long way to take it... Why can't they just allow it to ply Sengkang East Ave to supplement the only bus service here (119)... (just a thought for my selfish motive...) -
