10 more B10BLE-CNG commissioned for SBS Transit

10 more Volvo B10BLE-CNG (Volgren Cr222L) buses have been commissioned by SBS Transit. These buses are parked in Soon Lee Bus Park, and will be under their charge.
These buses have been acquired by SBS Transit in 2003 but have since been laid up in the depots while fuel consumption and feasibility studies were being done on the 2 identical buses, SBS2988M and SBS2989K, since 2002. They were initially deployed on Jurong Island Services 711, 712 and 713, before being put on Service 105 after SBST decided not to continue the JIS service.
These compressed natural gas (CNG) buses are expected to be deployed on Services 98, 105, 174 and 502.

SBS2994U
SBS2995S
SBS2996P
SBS2997L
SBS2998J
SBS2999G

cannot find the new buses on road. unlikely to feature on jre services next week so we're left with 174 and 502.

Service_238 and I happened to access the system on 30 Dec and made the discovery which was first posted on SGBuses on that very day. OH wait, I FORGOT!! You're NO LONGER a member of SGBuses! -
Alan, there's a reason why nobody notified you. Because we knew you were going to post it everywhere. This was classified information. You will probably be threatened with legal action now by SBST or the LTA. that's why a public effort is being made to ensure the public have access to such information, especially since LTA's road tax facility is a public domain facility. this is the least that we can do to keep the public abre-ast of the development of buses in singapore.
this information is out in the public, i wonder why there isn't a need to share information. -

It's not classified information but the general public would not even bother to check it out in the first place. As if they have as much time as you do.
And does it really matter if they know these buses will be coming out? They will still appear on the roads sooner or later. -

Whatever you discover, do not spread it to everyone. It may have been posted by accident, or you discovered private information on the sly. They may be after your head now.
