TIB1072 (SV851) breakdown at bus stop at Marymount road (opposite Soon Fu housing estate) this morning at 8 am.

Early in the morning 6am plus, a Service 8 bus (rego unknown) breakdown somewhere between Tampines Ave 2. I gotten this info from the complimentary
ticket from my friend
SBS 3685 E leaving Tampines Int at around 3 pm with back windscreen all smashed. Service on that day and reason unknown.
SBS583K broke down along Tampines Ave 5 at 3.15 pm today. Bus reached first bus stop from the Int, exit door cannot close. Bus 'struggle' until next bus stop and BC declare breakdown. No complimentary ticket from BC and BC didn't set to breakdown mode. Some passengers tap again while boarding the next bus. -

I noticed that if the bus park near the Int toilet means the bus got some problems...

SBS 7198T [SL 255] - broke down at Boon Lay Int at 7:45am after 2 trips. BC & mechanic seen refilling bottles of water from the toilet & emptying them into the radiator...probably sprung a leak somewhere. Replaced by SBS 1833H. -

SBS9230U on Svc 87 broke down at the turn-left give-way at the Sengkang East Ave and Punggol Rd junction at around 1830. The back cover of the bus is open and the engine is still running. Bus captain at end of bus directing traffic. This result in several buses on Svc 87 & 89 to slightly mount the kerb when turning left as the kerb is not designed for vehicles to turn left and the road is narrow. -

(rarely have DDs amd when it occasionally comes, it broke down, so pitiful) -

Unidentified Strider with Quaker rear ad broke down at around 6pm at bus stop along Boon Lay Way after Toh Tuck Ave junction in the direction of Jurong East. -

VO3x (Batch I) on sv2 breakdown along Loyang Ave (3pm-5pm still there)
SBS3871J (AMK 135) parked on TPe road shoulder near Tampines ave 7 exit at about 5pm
SBS3645X (BN 19) back part of the bus sank down due to a crack in the internal compartment, in Pass Office (3pm-5pm still there) -

TIB 580A [AM 67] broke down at bus stop along Kg Java Rd outside KK Hospital at 3pm. -
SBS3821D(SL 243)whole piece front windscreen drop off suddenly in Boon Lay Int when the bus is moving to the right lane to the bus parking area.
Every BC & ppl in Boon Lay Int was stunned about this incident.
BC & Mechanic carried the cracked front windscreens onto the bus & drove the bus slowly & parked near Int toilet area so not jam up the lane for buses moving to bus parking area.
Luckily the bus was empty, going to the bus parking area... -
Monday 13/03
SBS 1881T broke down along C'wealth Ave West outside Clementi MRT at about 4.30pm with destos removed. A maintenance vehicle was behind it.
Or could it be faulty aircon? Underfloor aircon cover was half open. -
SBS890Z of SV 518A broke down along TPE at about 7am.

15/03 Wednesday
SBS 356A [SL 30] - Breakdown at Boon Lay Int at 9am. Bus tilted to the right. Return to depot at 9.15am.
SBS 9096R [BR 157] - Breakdown at Boon Lay Int at 10.30am. Don't know what problem. Mechanic took a look at both front wheels & sent the bus back to depot.
TIB 601Z 172 [KJ 190] - Breakdown at Boon Lay Int at 9am. Maintenance vehicle behind. Return to depot at 9.30am. -

9065E of 179 (down trip) broke down at Nanyang Avenue, just inside the NTU Jalan Bahar entrance, with the engine cover open at the BC coming out to direct traffic round the bus.
The strange thing was that it was facing out of NTU. Maybe the BC already knew the bus had problems was on his way back to BNL or SLBP when it broke down... -
18/03 Saturday
SBS 1914H [BB 506] - Seen in New Bridge Rd Terminal without destos at 10.30pm with recovery truck. Left at 11pm. -

320C of 157 broke down at the end of Jurong West Avenue 1, heading towards BNL at around 4pm.
Bus driver switched off the engine and revved it a few times, but it didn't move...
I asked him what the problem was later and he said the air cannot flow or something...

SBS 3830C of 243W , broke down @ boon lay int
supposed to pickup passengers & Go around 1902hrs , but got problem with startup .no bus came & the line became damm long ...
then immediately deployed 3858Z earlier by 7 mins (supposed to serve passengers @ 1910hrs) to "sort of help out clear 3830C's load "
