Accident or bus break down thread (Jan to Mar 2006)

SBS 375U [SL 157] on sv98 broke down at bus stop outside Parc Oasis along Jurong East Ave 1 at 6.30pm. -

SBS 9128H of 179 & SBS 83L of 79
both buses had passengers packed to the door . As you know 179's bert is located at the exit of the bnlay int . so as bc turned to the exit , 9128H collided with 83L . hit the tailights of 83L . 9128H's drivers cab' mirror had cracks . pieces of bumper were on the road .
another BC checked the damage and gave the green light for both buses to leave int & continue with svc . not sure if 9128H was replaced later . dunno which BC is at fault . -

SBS 7215C cameo of 179 , today . brokedown @ boon lay int around 5.50 +
BC and mechanic seen sticking their heads in the engine at the back of bus and pouring water . -
LOL... I took that bus on the 1st round... Driver was stepping full accelerator all the way... And coincidentally, it's the same driver as 9128H of the above post...Originally posted by SBS BUSES LOVER:28/3/06

Not accident or breakdown... But the nearside (door) rear-view mirror of 302E (cameoing on 181) dropped off when the driver tried to adjust it!
Then the driver took the mirror inside and just continued with his journey! -

30/03 Thursday
SBS 432M [SL 502] seen at bus stop along Toh Guan Rd outside IMM with a broken windscreen at 8.45am. BC said he collided into the back of a sv52 bus. The unidentified sv52 bus already went back to SLBP. -
3677D of 157 broke down at Corporation Road... There was another Cheery bus breakdown at the exit ramp of PIE, coporation road, heading east... So this caused a big jam in Coporation Road...

SBS 9292R [HG 153] broke down at bus stop outside Farrer Rd Market at 10pm -
Along Compassvale St:
A Lexus ES300 car hit the back of an SBS Transit bus at 11.20am yesterday -
an upper seconadry school student (rumor has that he's from my school) got hit by a bus outside downtown east. Accident happened today (28 april) at around 2pm. I'm not quite sure what kind of bus but one thing is for sure: the boy is unconscious Some say the windscreen crack.
