I agree with your statement.Originally posted by iveco:BBT & CCK have old routes like 61 & 67 that are a pain in the butt. WDL has 961, a relic from the SBS era, plying WDL/Upp Bt Timah Rds. 171 used to take longer as it only started plying BKE from 1999 onwards.
WDL and SBW are not original Tibs territories. It only started operating these routes from 1983 onwards. It was in YIS where Tibs pioneered the opening up of the town, and would have done the same in SKG & PGL if not for SBS winning the NEL tender and scuppering their plans.
It is my belief that the "NW for NE" swap affected SBW residents badly as this meant Tibs (now SMRTB) had to put the SBW Int opening on the back burner as it had to devote more resources to the northwest sector where passenger loads were comparatively higher.
Maybe PGL will still have ONE bus going to the CBD. Svc 82 could have ended up like the current 167 instead of being grossly truncated.Originally posted by 105090:If SMRT has SKG and PGL... i daresay SMRT will just have one or 2 services to Woodlands/ Yishun, and one feeder.. the rest.. is MRT... thats the style..?
then no 27, 83, 89, 136, 156, 159, 161.. maybe only 965.
same as PGL, or even worst.. SMRT/ TIBS was lucky when it took over BB and BP/CCK... the routes are all established by SBS and TIBS then dont need to do much planning.. more like SBS has to plan SKG/ PGL routes from scratch, and the NEL rationalisation..

A big NO, of course. Sv 354's route is relatively too short.Originally posted by 105090:u wanna FFW354e?![]()
Pls think before you post..Originally posted by Apex-LW'21:Oh I see, so my suggestion of 96e, 174e & 199e may not be effective and it does not benefit NTU & NUS students for taking such FFw services.
Agreed with both of your statements about my suggestion of this.![]()

Most of the 151A buses actually goes to Whitley Rd then to PIE. I jus duno why Service 151A cannot be extended by a few stops.Originally posted by 105090:nope. 151 frequency has gotten better lately, mysteriously. Now, its frequency sometimes is better than 74! about 5 mins-10mins peak. afternoon off peak also about 10mins.
Last time off peak is 15mins, peak is 12 mins. But still, majority is NAC, and for pm peak, a few trips is "useless 151A".
now can see lesser craped 151 buses also.
BCOZ they haf to U-TURN back to HG central when the 151A done its trip to return to HG INT, i personally saw many 151A u-turning bak...Originally posted by SBS9889U:Most of the 151A buses actually goes to Whitley Rd then to PIE. I jus duno why Service 151A cannot be extended by a few stops.
